Hummingbird Cafe

What a treat!!! Awesome vegan options, great drip coffee (free refills!) very Covid safe. My husband ordered a breakfast plate and the eggs were cooked over medium- to perfection. We will be back!!

Can’t say enough good things about this cafe! My wife and I drive from Missoula to Billings often, and we always stop here to grab lunch.

My most recent time, I had ordered food on a time crunch, and it wasn’t ready before I had to leave. Thought I could make it back before they closed (it was a cold sandwich, which the staff had generously offered to keep in the fridge for me.) I didn’t make it back in time, and they refunded my money without me asking!

Good food, from good people. A must stop for all diet types.

Excellent experience here! Yummy lattes. I had the Portobello sandwich and my husband had an omelette with potatoes on the side. Both were great. Friendly service. 5 stars!

This is one of my all time favorite stops in Montana. The food is tasty, fresh, and healthy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Best of all, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. All put together, this is a top notch dining experience. Also, the pie is too gorgeous to cut into but too delicious not too cut into!

Best breakfast in Butte. Great space, really good food, nice service. Not big heavy food, like many bfast places; just great quality.

The atmosphere was trendy and rustic while feeling inviting. Having 2 children that are gluten-free its important to have knowledgeable staff that understands cross contamination and gf food's and they were excellent.

We went to breakfast. Nice place for a vegan and non vegan to go to. Had breakfast burritos which were good.

FANTASTIC food and atmosphere. Such a gem in the middle of Montana. Very tasty food, good portions, reasonable price. Great outdoor seating in the warmer months. Delicious and numerous vegan options. Great place that you'd expect to find in Portland or Seattle. Give them a visit!!

This place was an absolute gem of a dining experience! My girlfriend and I stopped in while passing by butte on I-90 and were delightfully surprised. She is vegan and it’s more often than not difficult to find her healthy and delicious vegan options. The hummingbird cafe was by far an anomaly for not only vegan cuisine but Montana cuisine as well. I can’t say enough praise for this place. From fresh delicious veggies and meats in my omelette to the phenomenal vegan pancakes (trust me I’ve had some not-so-great versions), to the very helpful and charming staff!!! This will become a stop every time we pass Butte!!!! Thank you!!!!

We went for breakfast, and they had a really great menu with food that backed it up. Amazing options for vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores. Extra points for the great atmosphere and envy-worthy plants. I got the tofu scramble, baked mushrooms, potatoes, and sourdough toast. Tbh one of the best breakfasts I've had out in a while. The strawberry jam is worth noting. Go here if you're in the area.
