The food was so good. The atmosphere and design of the building was cool and welcoming.

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the food is good, but the service and consistency has been all over the place over a course of 4 times dining there. The menu is unique with lots of healthy options using fresh ingredients, but wait times for the food and drinks can be long. The kitchen staff also may be in flux since items have come out differently even we ordering the same thing. Great decor and fun outdoor seating.

Amazing hidden gem in Butte. Multiple open spaces inside a preserved building with a surprise outside interior patio. The food is the best. Well thought out offerings not found elsewhere in town.

After a cycling tour, 3 of us stopped for breakfast before departing. Two of us went for NY style bagel and lox adding a slice of tomato to the shmear. It was excellent. Plenty of lox, very buttery. The other person in our party did an omelette with lox and it came with red potatoes. Coffee was rich and bottomless.

Do not pass by this restaurant. It is unique.

Service was cheerful and very good.

Great breakfast with plenty of vegan options, good coffee and adventurous teas, and delicious vegan chocolate cake? Literally could not ask for more. Already recommended to my friends.

Stopped here on the way back to Missoula from a camping trip, the reviews and pictures looked pretty good. The restaurant itself is big and very cute, but the atmosphere is everything but the kitchen sink. The food was incredibly underwhelming. I had the breakfast wrap and it came to me cold. It wasn’t terrible, but nothing more exciting than I could make at home. Understandably they were very understaffed, but we had to grab our own coffee/water refills and weren’t approached after our orders were taken. The concept of this place is unique and inviting, but the attempt is a little sad. At least they tried, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to people passing through, you might as well just go to Perkins instead.

Great food, good service. I love that they are still doing take out. This used to be our favorite brunch spot on Sundays, the full bar is a bonus to the amazing coffee too. Never had a bad experience here, can’t wait for the pandemic to wane so we can be branching on the patio come summer!

In all the years I’ve come to Butte I’ve wanted to stop at the Hummingbird Cafe…yesterday I FINALLY did and it was excellent! My daughter and I shared the hummus plate, she had the nonsuch quesa, and I had grilled cheese with wild rice and mushroom soup. It was all EXCELLENT! She will be attending Mt Tech in the fall and as we left she said she will be frequenting the Hummingbird Cafe. When I come to visit her and her older brother I will not miss my opportunity for a great meal. Looking forward to giving their breakfast a try.

Fresh food with lots of vegan, and gluten free options in a charming historic building. The tea service is one of the best parts! Staff was incredibly friendly! 5 out of 5!

Amazing!! The place is so cute. My sister was annoyed because I couldn’t stop taking pictures of everything. There are options for every kind of diet, and all the food is delicious! I have a lot of sensitivities and prefer to eat more vegan options because of it, which they totally provide! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the long wait, but I didn’t mind. :)
