Was the best breakfast restaurant in Bozeman. Waited half an hour to be seated just to find out when they hand us the menu that NONE of the food we went there for was available, there was a reduced menu with only a couple options. This wasn't told to us when we put our names on the list, or on a sign anywhere, or on the website. Not faulting them for being short staffed, but when the restaurant isn't what it used to be you can at least make that clear and not waste our time.

Local here, been coming to Nova for years. Brought family, friends, out of state company more times than I can count. Always tip 30%, always leave good reviews. Was just sent away by the hostess due to the kitchen closing (at the mysterious time of 12:12 pm on a Monday) on my birthday, immediately after the people in front of us were seated. Totally blind sighted and disappointed in what Bozeman and it’s businesses have turned into. Guess they’re too busy serving vegan meals and catering to the Californians.

Good food, good service. I think the best pancake around. Worth the 30 minute wait-most places seem to be short staffed so I don't hold this against them.

We stopped here for a bite on our way to West Yellowstone. We ordered a breakfast burrito vegan, plus avocado (+2.50), an acai bowl and two drinks.
The burrito had potatoes which were okay, but the entire thing lacked evidence of flavor. Not really any thyme or pepper, or anything came through that made us want to order it again. It was basically a warm potato wrap but it was so loosely wrapped that it fell apart and we essentially ate it like a bowl. Additionally, there was no avocado, which we paid extra for. We did not return to the restaurant because we had hiking to do and a good drive ahead, plus dehydrated meals which we fell back on as a result.
The acai bowl was sadly even more disappointing, and was really just damp granola with a pitiful drop of acai that got soaked into the granola in one corner of the large to go bowl which got my hopes up about the serving size. I should have opened it before we left. It was terrible and we didn't even eat it because we were going for that cold, acai soft serve craving and it really, really missed the mark by a few miles.
Two stars for drinks that were were tasty and non dairy options on the menu.

I had a doordash order this morning and went to go pick it up - the individual at the counter was very nice and doing his best - i appreciated how accommodating he was at the time of pick up even if thing’s were a little busy this morning.
Doordash i know can kind of be a pain and really confusing so it meant a lot to me with how he was very patient and understanding with me. The team works hard there! So thank you!

I ordered the eggs Benedict salmon cakes and was terribly disappointed. First the home fries were cold and tasted like cardboard, waiter brought me out a fresh batch. The salmon cakes were thin and under cooked having the consistency of mush. If you are expecting something similar to a good crab cake that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, then don’t order this. The cakes come on a bed of greens, so the meal turned into a mush salad. I ate the first cake but couldn’t stomach the 2nd and then noticed that there wasn’t any hollandaise sauce, the waiter told me that it was there but thin. I would expect a meal this bad to be comped or at least half off, nope, 10% is all he took off. I wish I took a picture…doesn’t matter, I’m never coming here again.

While the food was excellent and the coffee was amazing Kaylee, our server, was the thing that made our 5star breakfast. Cowboy Hash was interesting in a very good way.
