Sunny Street Cafe

Awesome brunch place. The montery chicken wrap is absolutely amazing and they have wonderful discounts for soldiers, teachers and first responders each day of the week. For Easter they had a whole table set up so kids could decorate their own baskets and assemble their own ice cream treats/ toppings for pancakes

This place seemed popular. There was just a short wait for us to seat a party of 5 on a Saturday. They had good breakfast food, wasn't anything spectacular. The service wasn't great. They were attentive, but no one was very friendly. They all seemed kurt and rushed.

On Sunday the 28th of February after my wife and I got vaccinated at BJC in Wentzville, we decided to stop for breakfast at the Sunny Street Café. We arrived at 9:50 and were immediately seated by the young man at the register. After we were seated a waitress came and took our order it was now 10:00 am. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered just water to drink. 3 cups of coffee later at 10:35 and two other groups of customers coming in after us and getting THEIR food, the waitress came to our table and for the second time said, "your food will be out in a minute or two now". "I SAID YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR 35 MINUTES AND OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE GOTTEN THEIR FOOD SINCE WE'VE BEEN HERE". "SHE SAID I KNOW I'M VERY SORRY, NEXT TIME YOU WON'T HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG". "I SAID THERE WON'T BE A NEXT TIME GAVE HER $5.00 FOR THE COFFEE AND WE LEFT. There are other places to eat breakfast in Wentzville and a pandemic is no reason for a business to eliminate customer service, which is what they did.

Friendly service, stale biscuits! I think the biscuit they served me was a leftover. It was served already split in two. The underside was soggy like it had been microwaved. Everything else was good. If you don't have any biscuits ready, just say so. Don't microwave something from yesterday!

Stuffed biscuits and gravy were amazing. Friend's pancakes were bigger than the plate as advertised but dry / doughy. We both got hash browns, somehow mine were golden brown and his were pale white.

Biscuits and gravy were way over cooked. That was my second vist. First was fine.

Omelet and hash browns. Good service. Friendly waitress. Not my favorite breakfast place but it's still pretty good.

Friendly, fast service. Great coffee.. they even have flavored cream on the tables! Every dish I've had is delicious, full of flavor and large, I always take a box home and finish later.

Good breakfast spot. Quick and freshly made food. Wait staff were somewhat unprofessional when not at the table (on phones, talking about inappropriate topics) but nothing you would notice if you weren't looking for it. Place was clean and the food was well above average.

Have seen this place for awhile but today decided to stop in and had a wonderful experience. Food was great and the server Lindsey was great. Will diffently be going back.
