Sunny Street Cafe

Great place to stop for Breakfast. They even had grits to go with my eggs and ham. Very good.

We heard about Sunny Street on Facebook through their Kids Dino-Mite event. My daughter loves dinosaurs and pancakes so we made the drive to check it out. Our group had 2 adults and 2 children, ages 4 and 2.

Most tables were empty but it took 5 mins before we were even greeted. The facebook event said there were kids games but the only thing I saw was a jar full of dinosaurs (guess the number of dinosaurs, 1 winner type). Not really something that kids under 5 would get into. We would have loved a dinosaur theme game/toy for the kids to play at our table.

Service was much slower than you'd expect at a cafe. 40 mins after we arrived, we asked for some crackers to give our 2 yr old since food still had not arrived. We were told they don't have crackers.

The free dino pancakes (with a paid adult entree) were good. We ordered sausage and bacon for the kids but never got them.

The iced coffee and chicken wrap were both pretty tasty. While I won't make the drive again for their kids events, I might stop in for an adult lunch if I'm in the area and don't mind the wait.

First time for us, servers were great and food quick and hot, only issue I had was no TP in restroom, happens to the best of us lol

Always easy to order. Friendly staff and very clean. Coffee is great. I like simple breakfast food. Bacon bacon bacon. Did I say I like bacon.

Very good every time we go there, but recently noticed our portions were a lot smaller this last visit on 2/18/23

Great food, fast and friendly service. Manager is always in the floor talking to guests and helping bus tables and sweep. Excellent family restaurant.

The place was very clean. The wait staff was friendly and welcoming. When I was there you could see that the kitchen staff was moving with no urgency at all, this is what contributed to our long wait to be seated and at the table. I was pleased with my order, everything was as expected. My lady however, her hashbrowns, that was the base of her breakfast were not cooked. They still had the crunch, taste, and texture of a raw potato if you were to bite into it. Sorry to say my first experience will be my last.

Highly recommend. Old Timey diner feel with clean, fresh ambience. Great food. Great coffee. Reasonable prices.
Unfortunately suffers for post-covid short staff syndrome. Wait time is a little longer than usual. Can't ding 'em for that, same everywhere. However, the staff hustles. They are friendly, smiling and attentive. Definitely a goto!

We were immediately greeted with attitude from Abby our waitress and then she made a point to ignore us when serving, greeting and getting the orders of everyone around us before even saying hello to us so we left after 10 minutes. Never coming back, very unprofessional.
