So happy to finally make the trip. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast burrito, in fact my sister and I were lucky to order the last 2. Advice order breakfast first thing then browse all the delicious food to purchase. So very happy 😊

It's a good place, but it takes an exceptionally long time to get a coffee. It was the same when it opened for the first few weeks, hit I thought it was because they were busy and learning the ropes. But coming back now, it's the same. Ordering a simple cappuccino took about 15 minutes, with just two people in front of me.

An incredibly wonderful experience from A to Z. Top tier service combined with the absolute tastiest sandwiches I've had in STL. Every time I try a new one and it becomes my new favorite. The shopping is unique and fun, and the cafe/bar service compliments the food perfectly. Do NOT snooze on this joint, I promise you will enjoy what they have to offer. The Annex is a MUST visit food place not only in STL, but dare I say, the WORLD.

First things first: there is a large parking lot behind the building. There is also street parking in front of the building, but it is harder to come by.

Second: if you enter from the rear parking lot, you will walk through their spacious covered patio. They also have heaters on the patio when the weather is colder.

Third: A first-timer is going to be confused when they walk in. If you want food, order at the deli counter. They'll ask your name. If you are sitting on the patio and don't hear your name called, they will bring your food to your table. After you order, you need to pay at the coffee bar/bakery counter.

Favorites: I love the huge selection of local and hand-made goods throughout the store. They have pantry staples of all types and flavors. This would be a great place to find a unique housewarming or hostess gift. It's even a great place to find all your picnic fixin's from fresh bread to sliced deli meats and cheeses.

Ordered: I had the ham and jam sandwich on garlic sourdough. Just ham and jam sounds plain, but is also had BRIE! So creamy and great texture. Also ordered the toast with gravlox. It included cream cheese and chives on top.

Needs work: I ordered the N/Annex. It's a non-alcoholic version of the Annex cocktail made with cherry juice, apples juice, honey syrup, and rosemary syrup. This must not be a popular drink because the bartender needed to find the recipe book and then needed 5+ minutes to make. It was a delicious drink, but if you are in a hurry, stick to a coffee drink.

Oh my gosh! If I was going to dream up a store, the Annex is what it would be. You can get everything here. The sandwiches are amazing, they have Swedish fish that taste better than any Swedish fish I have had, a beautiful bakery section and lattes to boot. Everything I have tried from here has been amazing, I mean seriously amazing (including the cherry barbecue chips - who would have thought?). Great place for an adventurous foodie.

Great coffee, food, patio seating, and service! Definitely a must try in Webster Groves. They make all of their own baked goods and they are delicious! We had the bacon scone and lemon blueberry muffin. We will be back!

Delicious Cafe food. Their breakfast burrito is my favorite! Love the decor. Curtious and helpful employees. Inside and outside seating (with heat when it's cold!).

I love the annex! The atmosphere is adorable, the staff is kind and they have delicious espresso drinks made with love. I enjoy grabbing a coffee to go or coming here for a breakfast date with friends. Thankful for this place 🥰

This was a really great find. The coffee was nice and the Signature Sourdough bread was delicious. They have other types of breads, a deli, some cold dishes/dips and then the food shelves with a small variety.

Very cute little shop. Enjoyed the egg salad.

I was a bit overwhelmed by the grocery options as it felt like I want supposed to touch anything/it wasn't for sale even though it was. Definitely ample seating inside and outside.
