The Annex Coffee and Foods

One of my faves in St. Louis! Delicious, cute, and friendly staff!

Parking is easier in the back with a large, shared lot. Very clean and well-stocked with food & drink selections. Lots of coffee choices. Meal options are cafe/deli style for lunch. The turkey club wrap was very tasty. There are dividers at the order and checkout counters but aisles are too narrow to social distance well. The covered outdoor seating area with heaters overhead is awesome. I saw employees cleaning tables and counters frequently, which I really appreciate! I will go back.

The plain croissants are amazing. They also have a heated patio.

Nice place with interesting options for both dining in and some groceries to go. We had the BLT and the Ham & Jam. Both were excellent! The blueberry lemon and white chocolate raspberry muffins were also delicious. The lavender cinnamon latte was ok. It was good, but I wasn't getting any lavender. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be back.

We came here for cocktails, and they were terrible. $12 cocktails for 3 ounce cocktails. The Irish cream coffee was all booze...we couldn’t taste any coffee or Irish Cream. The Annex cocktail was way too floral...no sweet or sour like advertised. We couldn’t drink the cocktails, so wasted almost $30 with tip. The woman who took our order was nice, and the place is really cute, so that’s why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

I could spend all day here looking at their unique food products. They also have great fresh food! I go for their coffee, though - Last fall they had a sweet potato latte that was to die for. Staff is always super friendly and helpful.

OK, here is the deal.
I asked for gluten free items for a brunch that we recently had. The chef sat down with me and gave me options on what to serve. Well I can tell you that John Hopfinger and his crew made the most unbelievable quiche for us. Our guests were completely blown away by the food. Thank you John and your amazing staff. We will be back!!!!

Fantastic atmosphere! Wish they had a gluten free option or two, but they were able to accommodate with a deconstructed burrito. Flavors were amazing!!
