The Annex Coffee and Foods

I enjoyed The Annex with my best friend. The mocha espresso was amazing. The employees were very nice, I enjoyed getting greeted as soon as I walked in, and seeing the ceiling high walls packed with goodies to purchase reminded me of an 1800s general store. We sat on their heated patio as we got to chat and listen to some music. I will definitely be coming back several times. They also got a rewards system, so I can't wait to visit again and try a new espresso flavor. 😀

Delicious coffee! I got a caramel cappuccino. The vibe is fun; they have an eclectic assortment of bakery items, sandwiches, and packaged food.

The ordering system is a little hectic because there’s several lines and you don’t quite know where to stand when it’s busy. Hard to find a spot to sit inside but they do have heaters on the back deck. Love the vibe! Would definitely come back!

Great coffee shop with amazing eats. We got a chicken salad sandwich and the breakfast burrito. It was so good. We also got a side of egg salad that was delicious, lots of dill.

Got the jasmine/ube/coconut milk seasonal drink and matcha latte with oat milk. Both were creamy and delicious! The seasonal drink tasted like taro boba tea so it hits the spot if you’re looking for something a little sweeter

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. I've never experienced a shop quite like it. If you're looking for speciality snacks, local items, great bistro food and a killer vibe -- this place hits all the marks. From small-business unique beers, salsas, jerky, cheeses, chips, kombuchas, pasta, local teas, coffee . . . etc., etc., etc., . . . As well as a cafe that serves special drinks, baked goods, some amazing sandwiches (like the jam, brie, ham sandwich ❤️🤤) varieties of salads, and a few good vegan options as well. . . You can't go wrong with anything here.

If you're in the area, seriously pop in and look around at all the goodies.

Super delicious breakfast and coffee in a really unique and charming shop. We ordered a hot caramel late, the Plaza Annex sandwich, and the breakfast burrito, all of which were to die for. Definitely one of the top 3 breakfast burritos we’ve ever had!

I've come here several times and while it's very $$$, I think it's cute and charming. I bought my best friend, who happens to be a personal chef in St. Louis, a gift card a couple years ago and she was in there last week to use it but they refused to take it and said it was expired. You've got to be kidding me. I'm an advocate for shopping local and supporting local businesses, which is why I got her the card, you're not going to honor a $50 gift card that had no expiration on it? They lost my business and certainly hers as well.

Loving this place. They occasionally brew Switch Coffee, which is an amazing local roastery here in North St. Louis. Relaxing, homey atmosphere at this place. Great spot to work or meet a friend.

Nice coffee shop small and cozy. Great service and good selection of drink's. Indoor seating good. Outdoor seating really nice with heaters. Reasonable price with various sizes.
