Great coffee and a fresh pop tart. Love the ambiance of this place.

Driving through St. Louis and stopped here without knowing anything about it. It's fantastic. Wonderful, cozy, spacious atmosphere, COVID conscious, friendly people, good coffee. Would come here daily if I lived in St. Louis.

Such a cute coffee shop with amazing vegan dessert options. I was visiting from NYC and this quickly began my morning go to. The matcha is like none I have ever tasted leaving a smooth, nutty finish and the Cinnamon roll is everything! Don’t forget to check out the locally made goodies on the counter (I picked up a f*k the patriarchy sticker myself)

Love this place! I really appreciate that they offer a 12oz iced drink size (hard to find, most places start @ 16oz). Ice vanilla latte was among best I've had. Choc/pecan doughnut was unique & incredible. Sesame noodle salad w/ edamame was simple & good flavor....might be nice with an extra veg. Excited to try more! Books to read & spaced tables inside plus 3-4 bistro tables out front.

I stop by at least 2 times a week for an iced chai tea latte with oat milk and it has NEVER disappointed me! The squad is very friendly, atmosphere is awesome and the food tastes great as well. I highly recommend the spinach and feta croissants and cinnamon rolls. :)

Protagonist has my favorite chai latte in STL—a little spicy and not too sweet! All their pastries are amazing too. My favorite is the orange glazed scone.

Super cool vibe! I'm actually not a huge coffee drinker, but I loved their house brew (which the staff told me they roast themselves). I stayed for a couple of hours because they have thousands of books to read while you're sipping on your drink. The bottomless coffee was a super fair price for unlimited refills and you get to pick your own unique cup. The barista was super friendly and the owner even introduced herself to me. I enjoyed the personal touch, which you don't get at many coffee shops. I will definitely be returning.

Love the book options here and enjoy the vibe quite a lot. The only reason I don’t give a 5-star is because of the background music. It’s a little bit “rocky” too me- it maybe not a issue for most of the customers. While for me I more prefer smooth music when I am reading.

Awesome place to study. Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Bunch of yummy looking vegan baked goods! I’ve only tried the brownie so far but it was amazing! Outdoor seating as well.
