Nasty food, stick to the coffee and the baked goods wrapped in saran wrap. The soft serve is also good, but I promise you you don't want to take a bite of anything other than the Sunday brunch. Not sure if it has continued due to COVID but I'm telling you... nothing from their main menu is appetizing. The owner is also quite mean.

Best place in STL to have coffee, conversations, meetings, get work done, eat lunch, have amazing breakfast+++ Wonderful people, our favorite place in St. Louis - been going there for years

Tried to go inside to order, missed the sign that said not to, a person freaked out and told us they're only doing patio which I figured but needed to order but okay. So we went outside and waited and even after the awkward interaction no one came outside to take our order. A caffeine headache was setting in so we thought we'd try to order online but it didn't make much sense- asking table numbers on unnumbered tables- then only taking card when we only take cash to local restaurants for tipping and what not, still no one came out so we left. New to the area and it's my wife's birthday so we left and won't bother coming back.

This place has an amazing menu. The food is absolutely delicious, shocking considering it's a coffee shop. However, I rarely come here or suggest it for one reason alone. The blonde woman that works behind the counter could not be more rude, or hated her job more than someone that cleanse out the horse stalls. Why does she work somewhere that requires customer service? Good luck if she takes your order. You'll find out immediately what I am explaining here.

The space is definitely people of color and LGBT friendly which is nice in St. Louis. For breakfast I ordered a chocolate and peanut butter shake and an egg sandwich with veggie sausage. The food was on par with local cafe-style places. What I liked more was the selection of books, pins and and social justice-related items. I bought a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans and they were a hit at work - so I was able to get a few coworkers to go check the place out too. If you plan to order to-go, call ahead rather than ordering when you get there.

The food and drinks here are the best. This coffeehouse is everything you would want in one - you can have a community meeting, an intimate gathering, or just sit by yourself and get some work done. There is ample seating at the bar, upstairs in the loft, or on their patio. If you want to support a progressive business, come here.

ZERO Stars! This place is a NIGHTMARE... I parked legally on the street, no red curb, no yellow curb, and the moment I exited my vehicle this cantankerous old woman (not wearing a mask) and one of her employees ran out to the street to confront me asking me "ARE YOU PLANNING TO PARK THERE???" Which is a crazy question, as I had already parked my vehicle and shut it off. I had plans to meet a friend I haven't seen in years there for coffee. Trying to avoid an unpleasant experience I simply kept walking then she and her employee literally blocked my path, got right in my face (forget social distancing-- they don't observe that here) and said "SIR!" in a very condescending tone! I then asked them if they could please observe social distancing! I explained very politely that I was meeting a friend there for lunch, and she replied "WELL YOU CAN'T PARK THERE THAT'S FOR PICK UP ORDERS ONLY!" Which is ridiculous--- no yellow curb, no red curb no sign restricting parking from the city! "SIR YOU'RE BEING VERY RUDE!" she exclaimed... I then decided I had had enough of this psychosis I had discovered, and replied "I won't be spending any money at your establishment, Madam! Good Day to you!" Beware of this place, it's full of KARENS!!! :/

Great place to chill, have coffee, and talk about all things under the sun. This coffeehouse is a tower grove staple. They are not afraid to show their political views so if you are easily offended then skip it. I personally love having coffee on their outside porch and watch as the city goes by :)

The food is great! The coffee is the best! The service is outstanding but the commitment to social justice & Reparations to the Black community is really the only reason I go.

It always feels like home... :) People are so nice and friendly, and accommodating, and the food is great! Although I wish they had more diverse vegan options! I love the outside patio when I feel like people-watching, or the quiet second level if I want to work undisturbed....
