If you happen to be vegetarian, the black bean burger is the best vegan hamburger in St Louis. This is also the best place to get vegan breakfast in the city. The breakfast burrito and the two egg breakfast make can be made vegan and both are really good options. The coffee is also really good, and has free refills before 11 a.m. If you're into that kind of thing. It's also good place to hang out and study or right or listen to music or whatever. It's a pretty chill environment for the most part

I am writing this review before I leave because I don't want to forget to do it. I can't rate this place high enough! Traveling through STL and stumbled upon this National Treasure. Traveling is hard on me because I usually have to shift down to slightly vegetarian instead of vegan and by the time I get home, my digestive tract is ANGRY.
Found this place searching Happy Cow. I may be in love, at this point. I don't have to check with my server about every menu item and do mental aerobics weighing whether it has too much dairy or if I'll feel like death in a half hour because nobody could figure out what's in a particular dish. Everything here is clearly labeled, and if they can make it vegan for you, they will. Friendly and attentive staff. Just can't say enough good!

I love their vegan breakfast. AND brunch on Sundays is the best. But I especially enjoy the environment on a weekday morning, with a vegan burrito, my laptop, free wifi and no one hassling me to leave. I get so much work done. Oh, make sure you try the strawberry lemonade!

Started coming here for celebratory coffees after passing exams in vet tech school. Now this place has become a routine hangout spot! Great food for great prices! Nice, relaxed environment with matching customer service!

We ended up here by accident when Rooster had a crazy wait, and boy were we happy about it. Super friendly server, low-key chill vibe, and a most excellent omelette.

MoKaBe's is quite the inclusive establishment. I've seen people from all different backgrounds and in completely different positions in life enjoying this cafe. My roommates and I love to go here and spend hours working on our computers, drinking coffee, or eating a decadent veggie burger, and most of all, enjoying the each other and the atmosphere. The prices are affordable, but you get so much more than you pay for.
If you need a place to be yourself and read a book or chat with friends, this is the place to go.

Truly a coffeehouse experience! Real people from diverse walks of life conjoined by this social mecca overlooking Tower Grove park. Too many hot coffee drinks to list and a full list of popular teas. Many flavors of cold drinks and soft serve ice cream drinks. In short there is something for everyone. In addition the food menu is the largest of any coffeehouse I've been in. Cold and hot sandwiches meat and veggie. Terry's soups are wonderful. This place has great coffee and cold drinks, a robust food menu and the most diverse clientele imaginable. .. two thumbs up.

I love the vibe of this place, very accepting and inclusive. The food is beyond mediocre, pretty bland, if I am being honest. The coffee I tried, the Highlander Grog, based on reviews here, was not very good. It had an overwhelming artificial flavor. Honestly, I cannot recommend the food or coffee but wholeheartedly the environment, the book selection. I don't live here but I would probably come here for bagged tea and conversation.

MoKaBe’s is the best! I love their coffee. They have great specialty lattes and classic espresso drinks. My go tos are the depth charge (drip coffee with shots) or the Becky’s B!tchen Brew latte.
The service here is also great, and they have great protocols to keep everyone safe for covid. All you have to do is order online, and then walk or drive up when your ready. You don’t even need to go inside — they’ll bring your order out to you.
MoKaBe’s has everything you’d want in a neighborhood coffee shop. Never change!

My first time to visit and I have gone to many coffee houses, this is by far my favorite. The atmosphere to the coffee and the spectacular hummus was all amazing. We stayed for hours sitting next to a cute window on the second floor watching the people, enjoying a wonderful converstation. Even though there are others there, we totally felt as if we were in our own bubble. Highly recommend to everyone!
