Second time having a horrible experience here. Paid $8.23 for a “large” seasonal iced latte which included a $1.00 tip. Asked for it with no ice which I do at all coffee shops with no problem and receive a full drink. After 9 minutes got a 12 oz cup with ice. They offered to remake it, which took another 9 minutes after that. Got a cup literally not even half full. Filled the rest with milk myself. All the while, the music was pop including “Call Me Maybe.” So if you want 5 oz of drink that tasted not good and nothing like the described flavors, for double what most coffee shops would charge, this is the place for you. No reflection of the employees - they were fine. But this was the second occasion with a long wait, and I really just felt like I was getting ripped off this time entirely.

I've been coming here to read and study and it's a great little coffee shop! Friendly staff, great coffee (an iced Mayan mocha is my go-to), and good treats! The wedding cake cookie is good if you like something sweet
Parking can be a bit scant but there is a free lot for customers! Love coming here!

I was visiting from Chicago this week and decided to check out this place. Loved it! Had their turkey avocado sandwich, it was delicious! Really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the cashier as well as the server were very friendly towards me. I will have to visit again the next time I'm in St. Louis!

Didn’t like their espresso that much
The Gibraltar coffee was good though
The outdoor seating and the atmosphere and the fact they open late at weekends is a bonus for this place

Pretty typical college coffee/cafe joint (Wash U being right across the street and all). Free WiFi, delicious (but expensive) drink and dining options that is almost guaranteed to offer something you'll enjoy. Indoor/outdoor seating (and yes, they ensure social distancing with their table placements). As long as you purchase SOMETHING and you don't disturb the customers you can hang out pretty much from open to close. (But if you're short on money and just need somewhere to charge your phone or do homework they are pretty chill about just letting folks hang out. As long as their not TOO busy)

Food is great. Coffee is great. Staff is AMAZING. Atmosphere is AMAZING. I love bringing friends here for a quick visit. Even though it gets busy, it still maintains a very comfortable feel. I was very happy with the last seasonal latte I got. It had Rosemary! And the people working were very intent to make sure our group was happy with the food.

It has a good atmosphere. Very clean in there. I got the avocado toast and the bread and cheese on it was good, but the avocado tasted old. The places had a nice view outside and was close to where we were staying. The wait staff was okay. Didn't seem happy to be there.

Great food, coffee, tea, inside (studying) and outside seating. I had the breakfast bagle sandwich (egg, cheese and bacon) and a double chocolate muffin. Very yummy
