Excellent experience! Breakfast sandwiches were fresh and VERY tasty. Coffee was great. Loved the atmosphere and music they played, plus a wonderful view of the campus. You can tell they love what they do here, it shows.
Verdict - would go back & recommend to friends.

This is a pretty chill place to grab some coffee and food after you’ve spent some time in forest park. There’s a lot of seating both at tables and along the windows. The high ceilings and timber framing are great for ambiance and help keep the place cool in the summer. It’s right off of the Wash U campus, so it’s a great spot if you’re a student.
I’ll definitely be back, and I might make this a regular stop if I’m out at the park for a run.

Great breakfast!
Had the breakfast bagel with sausage and it was delicious. Americano was good, and the Nitro Cold brew was a great start to the summer day. The staff here are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming and open.

Great place to work on early weekend mornings! There’s so much seating, and the vibe is so cozy. I also love the location facing a picturesque view of WashU. I tried the rosemary brown sugar seasonal latte, which was yummy!

Had some free time and decided to come here with a friend. I always tend to get the nitro cold brew whenever I go to coffee shops and this visit was no exception. I thought the size of it was pretty small. I also got the breakfast bowl. I had bacon, guacamole, quinoa and it was really good mixed together. The staff there were very helpful and polite and I enjoyed both my visit and the food. If you sit by the window you actually get a pretty good view of the park across the street. Wish this place stayed open later, I would have definitely come here to get some work done.

Place is cozy. Great for peace and quiet and studying. I ordered for the sweet matcha latte which has the perfect blend of matcha flavor and sweetness. It has a nice view outside and the cafe also has an outdoor dining if you like fresh air and more of the city view.

If there was 0 stars, then this would be the place to get it. I went went with one other person on Monday 9//5/22 @12:21PM (noted from my digital receipt) and had a terrible experience as a visitor to Missouri.
We ordered 2 coffees and a berry shake and when they called us out for drinks, the baristas were missing a coffee. They did not even know what they were missing, and we had to show them the receipt. After getting our entire drink order, we tried the coffee and wasn’t a fan. Starbucks or other coffee shops we have tried are better. The smoothie was good though.
When server Tavien W took our order, he informed us that food would be an hour wait, and we proceeded to accept the wait time. We hit the hour mark waiting for food and started to get curious about our order, given that we were getting close to the cafes closing time. At the hour and 15 minute mark, we asked an order taker where our food was. Tavien W told us he would check in the back and never gave us an update. 5 minutes later, we asked a different order taker (who did not have a name tag), and he check in the back once again. The cooks told him that the order was already taken out. However, our buzzer never went off, nor did we receive any food from our order. The cafe had to pull up our receipt and remake the order 20 minutes prior to closing. We then waited more time for the food, which didn’t seemed rushed by the cooks. Once we received the food, the turkey avocado sandwich was extremely small for $11. We could have made this at home or purchased from a different restaurant with better proportions for the price. It was literally the size of my small palm. Additionally, my avocado toast had a cold scramble egg on top (after having a ridiculous wait time), the proportions was once again poor for the price (pictured was half of the toast with cold eggs), and the avocado spread was thin and was the prepackaged avocado from the grocery store.
With all of these issues, it was not worth being refunded as we were already frustrated with the service from entering the cafe and just wanted to leave. Before leaving, we wanted to use the restroom. In mid-sentence of asking for a pin or key for the restroom, the worker interrupted the question, proceeded to say the pin in a rude tone, and continued to talk with her coworkers. She, again, did not have a name tag, but was making drinks during our time at the cafe. This was horrible customer service as she interrupted our sentence and then turned her back to us.

It's a hit or a miss. Their chesterfield locations hot coffee is much better. In this particular location, their coffee tastes stale. My educated guess customers high volume and coffee pots do not clean frequently and diligently
Their staff members were friendly

Really nice coffee shop on the northwest corner of the park and right next to Wash U.
They have a diverse coffee menu as well as pastries and, most importantly, real food. They have two areas with tables to eat and hang out in which is very nice. Though they are usually very crowded.
Their pastries were excellent and even better they have a variety of pour overs from which to choose. So you don’t have to get coffee that is been sitting in a thermos.

This place is more expensive than Starbucks and none of the 3 beverages I've had are remotely worth it.
The coffee itself is on the bitter side. The Frappuccino knockoffs barely taste like they have any coffee at all. Good luck finding a power outlet that works. Or a seat not taken by a wash u student who will never move.
Go elsewhere.
