Love this place! Cozy feel, excellent food. Love when people play the piano. Nice that they have multiple roasts. I'm a dark roast guy and it's good. Only negative is that I wish the staff were more outgoing. Staff is nice, but kinda quiet.

Such a cute, inviting and interesting coffee shop! Loved everything about this place. Delicious light coffee, lively atmosphere and friendly service. Lots of seating with plenty of space to feel comfortable. Liked their music choices while we were sitting on their comfy couch. Would definitely return!

We loved this cute little place! My husband and I arrived just before 9 on a Saturday and were there just in time to snag the last table, so you may want to get here early as parking and seating is limited.
I ordered the specialty latte Rise and Shine which was cinnamon, brown sugar, and caramel. It was like a pastry in a cup and absolutely heavenly. My husband ordered the Cherry Bomb latte which he also enjoyed.
The first bite of my Aubracado sandwich was such a surprise of flavor. I gobbled it down. My husband did similar with his Fruit Marscapone Crepe.
This place is such a gem and we will surely be back again!

This is a great little coffee shop in St. Charles with fun specialty lattes - like the nut. Try the aubracado its the best bagel sandwich! The staff is super friendly too.

Loved this place. I had heard of it and had it on my list of fun places to try. Today I finally went. Loved everything about it. Everything was exceptional. Could be one of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had. This place is warm, fun and inviting.

We were visiting from out of town and came across this gem. The coffee was one of the best I’ve ever had. All of our breakfast were unbelievable. The service and ambiance were outstanding. Wish we had this near us. I don’t know how anyone local could ever go to a Starbucks or Dunkin with a place like this nearby.

Great local coffee shop.
Food is awesome. Today I had the caramel pecan pancakes (again) and they were exceptional, couldn't stop eating. The coffee is always great.

It's been a few years since I've been here, and they've only gotten better. I come here for the atmosphere and the experience. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and most of the food is great (just avoid the veggie quiche). Their Chai latte is one of the best I've had in a long time. They offer bottomless coffee, if you're just looking for your average joe 😉.
This little spot in Historic Saint Charles is perfect if you're trying to get some work done on an afternoon, or you need a place of quiet respite. They're open later than Picasso's and Upshot, so that's a big plus in my book. A good handful of books line the shelves of a bookcase, which is also home to a decent selection of board/card games. There's a comfy couch in the corner--if you can manage to snag it. An old upright piano against the wall lends to the cozy, lived-in atmosphere of the shop.
If you want to support a small coffee shop, this is one of the top places in StC to choose.

UPDATED: I come here all the time but am taking my business elsewhere. After a year plus of coming here once or more per week, no one is friendly. In fact, the staff is unfriendly. I regularly order online and wait 30 minutes to walk in. My coffee is NEVER ready. They never can find my offer. My food is cold while I wait... And wait for a cup of Cafe Americano. I stand for 15+ minutes waiting for them to make my coffee. Every. Single. Time. I always have to tell them what I ordered. Why offer online ordering if you don't make or review the coffee orders.

Our usual coffee shop was crazy busy and so we decided to try a new place out. I've driven by this place several times and decided to give it a try. First off, finding parking was a pain. The main lot was full. There was a sign noting a second lot. We finally found it only to find it full, too. Ended up parking across the street. We were worried that it would be packed with the lots so full, but there were only about 15 people. It was pretty busy, but still had space, and there was no wait in the line. I was dying for some breakfast and was glad to find that they still cook it later in the day. The atmosphere is appropriate. It's got the rustic worn welcoming vibe with lots to look at. The coffee (one of the specials) was quite tasty. The breakfast sandwiches were decent but had the tiniest sausage. Only about half my bites had sausage in them. Overall, we'd come back again.
