some of the absolute best coffee and food you'll get at any cafe in the area, but also some of the most negative customer service ): i've been a weekly customer there for over 5 years because it truly is the best cafe i've ever been to, but i've had negative customer service about 90% of the time. i'm not saying the baristas need to be elated, as i am a server and understand how the service industry is, but something as little as a half-smile is a very rare occurrence seen behind the counter. either the management is so bad that all the staff is sour all the time, or that's just how theyre trained. i do want to say there are definitely a few really sweet people there, but i rarely have seen them or encountered them at the counter, not everyone applies to this review (:
EDIT FOR THE REPLY: i mean,,, i get my food and drink as ordered, fine, but majority of the staff acts like taking care of customers at the register is a huge inconvenience. again, i am also in the industry, specifically working in the same area of historic st charles on main street, so i understand customers in this area can be a little much. but i'm always extra nice, always tip, and i am always met with attitudes. i used to always boil it down to "oh they're just having an off day, maybe they'll be better next time," and they never are lol.

Abrucadabo bagel sandwich is delicious. Atmosphere is fantastic. Great little place for weekend breakfast and coffee.

I like the coffee and half the staff is great and the other half just started at you. Often very loud inside too. But they do make a nice coffee, sandwiches looked great, and a decent selection of pastries.

Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches, 1 burrito and 3 coffees for the family.
Sandwiches were ok, my daughter liked the burrito. I didn’t care for my Americano but my wife liked her cappuccino.

Place looked really cool.

The coffe and food was excellent! To the young lady who brings out your food, I will pray for you everyday because you need it! Obviously you have some underlying anger issues.

I can't believe I've lived within 2 miles of this place for 4.5 years, and I'm just now trying Crooked Tree! As a breakfast enthusiast, I have really been missing out.

I got the Aubracado breakfast sandwich and a pumpkin pie latte. The drink was excellent, and the sandwich was easily among the best breakfast items I've ever had. Online ordering was simple and curbside pickup went smoothly. Looking forward to going back soon!

This place is terribly run down. The ceilings have years of airborne dust and vent dirt. Every time I go there half of the coffee pots are empty. The place just cannot compete in the "hipster" class. It tries desperately to recreate a Starbucks environment, but fails.

Cute coffee shop. Food is slightly on pricy side but drinks are fairly priced. I went from 11am-1pm and it was fairly noisy so I left because I was trying to do homework. Definitely worth checking out!
