I am at Fort Leonard Wood for work for a few weeks and I was looking to get away from all things Army to knock out some paperwork for work and some school work. So, I looked up some places and found Potter House. From the picture I didn't realize that it was a home that had been turned into a coffe spot. It was super cool I went upstairs and worked for 5 hours without being bother. I am in town for 3 more weeks and I will definitely go return. Super dope spot.

I love this place, the employees are great! The coffee is excellent! One thing this place needs is fresh sweet treats to go with my coffee!
Hint I know an amazing chef intern who would love to bake for this place!!!!

I was here for the first time when a tornado warning activated in Greene County. Everyone went down to the basement and tried to distract ourselves. Two employees kept coming downstairs to give us updates. They even brought us battery powered lanterns incase the power went out. One of the men came down after a while with a tray of cookies, muffins, and brownies asking if anyone needed any comfort food. He also brought down two jugs of coffee. He let us just have whatever we wanted since we were all nervous and crowded together. He came back down to let us know we were all good when the tornado warning went down to just a tornado watch. I'm glad I was here when the storm hit. I will be back for sure. Thank you so much for such wonderful service.
*I also ordered a hot spiced chai after things calmed down and it was the best chai I have ever had.

Very delicious! It is a trendy spot for college students. There’s separate rooms, nice places to study, and it’s quiet. They specialize in drinks. There’s no food. The owner is so sweet!

If you're a college student and you haven't been here. You seriously need to reconsider your life's decisions up to this point. The Oreo quicksand is my go to beverage everytime I come here. Look at the review of Cindy and Laura for an accurate description of this amazing establishment.

The Potter's House (or PoHo) is a non-profit coffee house located across the MSU campus on National. It is actually located within a house so it has a neat and homey atmosphere. You can find great coffee and tea there; I recommend their Chai Tea latte (it's my favorite of Springfield coffee houses) and their oreo quicksand. The staff are all volunteers and they are very friendly. There is free WiFi and a lot of college students.

Amazing service and friendly staff. The drinks are delicious and prices are very fair. Nice open house with lots of neat areas to sit and enjoy your drinks with company.

I've known Samson for many years, he used to work with my husband and he is an amazing man!!
