The Potter's House

A go to for any MSU student, especially those that live on campus. Samson is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Milkshakes are reasonably priced and there were several times where the barista "made too much" and gave me the extra in a second cup. Over my four years at MSU, I spent countless days and evenings here working on homework and hanging out.

I love Potter's House! They have a great selection of coffee drinks and smoothies. The atmosphere is very chill and inviting. Samson is super friendly and just makes you feel at home. This is for sure one of my go to spots to read and hang out!

I have always been so impressed by the heart of this place. They are a wonderful company, and those that work there are incredible. Thank you all so much for what you do!

I really loved it. It is a simple house & his owner was so kind, also the coffee taste good& cheaper than most of cafes in Springfield. It is worth mentioning the place let you feel relax as you in your home & a member of house family.I'll come again & again

Delicious little coffee shop next to campus. Friendly staff and great drinks. the oreo quicksand and irish brownie are my favorites. Always nice to come in and see Samson behind the counter, he seems to remember everybody and is great to talk to. Parking can be tight at times so if you're a student that lives close by you may be better off walking there, but there are plenty of sidewalks and crosswalks across national to get there without much trouble. Overall a well deserved 5/5 and certainly a place worth trying out if you've not been before.

This is a quaint coffee shop. It is in a building right by campus. It was full of students and the building is a house so there are lots of little nooks. They did have alternative milks for vegans and their coffee was good. The only downside to this place is the parking. There aren't a lot of spaces to park. The staff was incredibly nice!

Neat little place with such a comfy atmosphere. Great place to make memories while enjoying a quality drink. The staff are excellent, personable without coming off annoying, and seem to legitimately enjoy their jobs. I really can't say enough good about this place.

Shout out to the awesome guy working tonight who served me even though they were closed for a private group. I had just rolled into town from New Orleans and it's very hard to find a spot open past 8pm. 🙃 you rock. And I could tell he was caught off guard by the side hug and tip but that's how we do it in the south!

First of all, Sampson is the kindest human being!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the drinks are delicious. For a cold drink, get the Oreo Quicksand, but consider sharing it with someone because it's sweet. If you want something hot, you can never go wrong with a vanilla latte or just a cup of black coffee.

Hands down the best coffee shop I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Barista's were kind, service was quick, and prices were reasonable.
