Neighbor's Mill Bakery & Café

I cannot recommend Neighbors Mill enough! I have tried many things on the menu, as well as pastries, and I have NEVER been disappointed! The staff do a great job and are very kind. It is almost always busy, but they typically get people through really fast! Their salads are amazing. Their breads are baked fresh in house. I also love the Loaded Baked Potatoes for lunch. For breakfast the Bacon Cheddar Bagel is the best!! They also have great prices for fresh food. Like I said, I cannot say enough about how great they are! Definitely give them a try.

Neighbor’s Mill has really good sandwiches and soups. Definitely recommend the pesto turkey sandwich and the bacon potato soup. Fast and friendly service. Very clean and upscale facilities. Would definitely come back again!

Have been a fan of the bread as we use at our deli at work, first time trying food here. So cute, long line moved so fast. Love the deli feel. Had the muffaletta and it was so delicious. Definitely can split that. Best version I've ever had. Coffee was also good. Will be back to try some bakery items next. They were crazy busy the entire time we were there but the line seemed to always be moving and tables turn quick. Seems to run very smooth.

Great Food! Great people! We had them cater a lunch at our work with a nice assortment of fresh, loaded and tasty sandwiches, made with their fresh baked breads. And the cookies! These are nice big tasty cookies, it was a wonderful treat. We plan on enjoying their goodies again.

Have eaten here many times for lunch and been very pleased. Today ate breakfast for the first time. It was not that busy and yet they took a long time to serve our food. The food was cold. In addition, the server brought all of the plates stacked on top of each other, with the bottom of one plate in direct contact with the food in the plate below! There is no telling where the bottom of these plates has been. Why not just use a tray to bring the plates? Quality was average, like Waffle House.

They have all the good stuff you expect from a high quality restaurant/bakery. What struck me most, were the smiles throughout... behind the counter and in the dining room! I watched people smile as they came away from any counter- especially the cashier. This is a secret ingredient only few operators know how to cultivate. Very well done, NMB&C!

I had a wonderful lunch with my coworkers from Fremont Senior Living today. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The residents love to eat here. We will be back to food is amazing.

Every time I come to Springfield I eat at Neighbors Mill. One of my favorite places! The pimento cheese sandwich is like nothing I’ve eaten anywhere else. So good! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the bakery items are all delicious!

First time at this gem of a restaurant…because of that, it took longer for me to order with so many options. The lady taking our order was so helpful and not aggravated with me changing my mind not once but twice. She even gave me some suggestions…we will definitely be back!!!!!
Food was on point as well!!

First time going and I was very satisfied. If this could be compared to another restaurant, I would say Panera, but better! The food was great and tasted fresh, they served our food to our table and it didn’t take long. The bakery was also stacked and look delicious. The prices are about average, maybe a bit less, but are definitely fair! The decor is also very cute and feels cozy. If you’re looking for a new place to try, I would recommend.
