We decided to try Gailey’s for brunch and I’m so glad we did. My son ordered the Bear Hug and I ordered the Slentz Bowl. Both were delicious! I can’t say enough good things about those fluffy biscuits and gravy! Our waiter was also friendly and attentive.

Gailey’s provided my friends and I a warm atmosphere with live music We ordered various items and drinks and all which were enjoyed. I had the vegetarian skillet which was seasoned well and nicely portioned. I do recommend this local joint to other visitors!

A great atmosphere! Our server Devon was friendly and helpful even though we showed up at an odd time (in the middle of a flood warning at 6pm!). Despite the name, we went there for dinner on a Wednesday and the food was great even though we weren't sure what we were going into (since it IS a breakfast Cafe and we rolled in at 6pm) but it far exceeded our expectations! We dine out pretty often in the Springfield-Clinton-Sedalia-Warrensburg-KC area and this is one of the best overall experiences we've ever had, especially so in this price point and cuisine-type! Definitely try their Loaded Chili & Grilled Cheese if you're there for dinner! You might not expect it, but it's some of the best I've had in the area!

Wow! Very few places we’ve been that had a diverse menu, and could deliver on each item! They did! Fresh, hot, delicious! Menu has everything you could want… all kinds of egg dishes, lox, omelets, waffles, biscuits and gravy, French toast, you name a breakfast item and they have it! Our eggs Benedict was phenomenal! Biscuits and gravy too. Some how they make fluffy yet “full” biscuits. Not dense. Just perfect! Everything out perfectly cooked, prepared and hot! Alex was our server. He was sweet, kind, and attentive! Thanks again Alex! They make everything to order so expect to wait a little longer for your food. Sit back, relax, enjoy the coffee and mimosas and be patient. Their coffee is fantastic! Light, crisp, clean! It’s called Rova. Never heard of it but would have bought some if we could have. They don’t sell it yet but will soon apparently. Go! It’s a “don’t miss” place! They don’t take reservations, but you can add your name to the waitlist via google.

We were looking for a place that served breakfast other than the hotel where we were staying. Not really a fan of chain restaurants either so we tried Gailey's. Great choice on our part. The omlets were unique and very delicious. I can also say the service was great and our waitress was very friendly. We will definitely return when we are in the Springfield area again.

This was our first time there and was not impressed. We ordered Breakfast and the gravy on the biscuits was warm not hot, the scrambled eggs were fried eggs then chopped up into pieces. The waitress only came to the table once and we had to ask for coffee refill after half way through our meal and cups had been empty for awhile. The portions of our meal was very good but for $50+ for 2 meals and my son only ordered an appetizer. Don't think we will be going back.

Very good for being a downtown breakfast place. Run of your mill kind of brunch with good drinks.

I used to love going here, for the food quality, and atmosphere at a reasonable price. I was back in town and hit up Gailey's. This time, I got a skillet that didn't include toast or eggs, and had tiny bits of turkey bacon so small I didn't taste it, for $20. If I had wanted a side of eggs and a coffee, my bill with tip would have been almost $30. I know there's been some inflation but not 30-40%! Come on guys.

The food and service are excellent. We had waffles, eggs, ham, biscuits, and gravy. Everything was made with love! Our wait person was Alex and he was really good. We will be going back for more when we're in town.
