Awesome place to eat!! Great food, very friendly staff, attentive and understanding towards people.with allergies! Huge amount of food, and great prices. Would highly recommend! Definitely will be eating here again!!!!

Our breakfast experience was fabulous. The stuffed French toast with orange marmalade was perfect, and the El Jefe platter was huge ... and spicy. I definitely recommend Gailey's Breakfast Cafe.

I ordered El Jefe! It was really good melted cheese was good idea. My wife ordered fried steak and eggs she loved that one. Waiter was super nice and helpful, she picked El jefe for me.

It was our first time there, and the food was excellent. And it had a nice atmosphere and the waitress. It was her first day to get a good job. We will go back.

I have been coming here for a year and still have not had one issue. it’s always live, busy, and fun inside. I forgot my waiters name, but my friends and i could tell he was busy with lots of tables. so he was not able to take care of us as well as he wanted. but, he made the effort to give all of us, even my guy friend a flower. it was my birthday and it really was the cherry on top for me, such a good spot!

Great breakfast cafe. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I had the stuffed french toast and my wife had the make your own burrito...both excellent. Service was good as well.

The best breakfast and the nicest people. If kenzie is working, ask for him. As always, leave tip in cash so they don't get charged a card fee.

Server was very nice. Food was good for price. The environment is typical for 'downtown' in a college town.
The old man "playing" (making noise) on guitar with amplifier was supper aggravating, nearly impossible to have conversation with that noise.

Had the el jefe skillet. Substituted bacon for the chorizo and was phenomenal! Service was very fast and friendly. Atmosphere was great. Best food I’ve had in Missouri yet loved it! Need to go again.

Absolutely delightful experience. This restaurant is a high quality uptown atmosphere in a downtown setting. I thoroughly enjoyed all the local art on the wall, from anime to farm animals to abstract art. I ate breakfast here, the eggs were cooked to perfection the bacon was delicious and so was everything else. It was about 15 minutes off the highway and I'm really glad we stopped!
