The people working are very friendly good food and good coffee the only thing is the people dining in are internet fanatics (don't talk to them while surfing the internet unless you instant message them 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

Lovely atmosphere. Beautifully designed buildings, Christmas decorations and a stunning view of the lake. Best quiche I've ever had in my life. Staff is wonderfully friendly. Such a great experience!

It is technically open for the hours posted, but they shut down the espresso machine at 3pm. So if you want any specialty drinks, this is not the place to try to get that.
Came at 3:16, thinking I’d be able to get a cappuccino since it says it closes at 10pm, and wasn’t able to get it. Was offered cold brew instead. Not the same.

I was at Truman House on Tues May 31, 2022 at about 10:45 a.m., staying on property. Bought only a $5.00 carton of sliced fruit and left a .50 tip. Today I viewed at my MC bill and I was charged $21.28!! My .50 tip was increased! to $15.00!!! Johnny Morris would not appreciate Big Cedar doing that to guests, especially a senior. Dismayed in Springfield, MO
