This is a great place to start your morning. Have a cup of Joe with an amazing view, and if you're hungry, well, they got you covered. Breakfast and lunch available, it's a small place with a small menu. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great coffee choices and had an apple pie shake that was super delicious. Great service and the view is quite spectacular.

Recently expanded. Ate breakfast here twice this trip. Decent place to catch a quick bite, but apparently the food is cooked elsewhere and hot foods tend to be only warm. Wish there was a microwave available. Also, I really wish they had real porcelain or ceramic coffee cups instead of just paper.

Food quality has really gone downhill from what it used to be. Very little value for dollar at current prices.
Serving a captive audience.

Located at Big Cedar Lodge the Truman Cafe is a very nice place with great views over looking Table Rock Lake. The staff was extremely nice. The real gem here is the deserts, all of them from the pies to the fudge and especially the custard which can be topped with numerous sweet treats.

We went here after an afternoon on a boat, and the ice cream was terrible. Those words don’t seem to go together. Terrible and ice cream. It tasted like vanilla extract and burnt the back of my throat. If you’re charging $6 for a strawberry milkshake it better taste like strawberry, but it was watery and tasted like vanilla. The same is true with the other types of ice cream. That said, the staff was helpful and the shuttle bus arrives quickly when called, but that’s not enough to earn more than 1 star.

They have wonderful food and prepared sandwiches in the morning for us to bring on the boat for lunch

Wanted to love this darling spot but I’ve tried it twice and just can’t say good things. The first try was a concrete which was actually a melted mess of a weird drink that took 20 minutes to get. The second was their chicken salad wrap which was super bland.

Food was GREAT & prices not bad for what you get. Biscuits & Gravy $10, but you get 3 butter milk biscuits loaded with sausage gravy.
