My friend and I were cycling on the Rock Island Trail today, and we stopped in at Crane Brewing for a brief rest and hopefully cold drinks. What a wonderful, welcoming place!! Rock Island Coffee is right inside the door, and the barista greeted us and showed us the menu of available drinks. In addition to coffees, they have other non-caffeinated drinks. But I chose the iced hibiscus coffee, which was MARVELOUS! (I'm so glad it's moving from the seasonal menu to the regular menu!) My friend had a cappucino which she said was delicious as well.
Crane Brewing is an awesome space; very open and airy, with plenty of chairs and tables to sit and rest. They're happy to accommodate cyclists (in all our sweaty splendor), and there are even shelves with board games if one chooses to linger. They have sparkling clean bathrooms and a water station to fill up your water bottle, and everyone on staff is super-friendly and genuinely pleased to see you.
It was too early for BBQ (Harp BBQ starts serving at 5 pm on Fridays) and neither of us wanted to try an alcoholic beverage before getting back on our bikes and continuing down the trail, but you can bet we'll be back to try both the food and drink that Crane Brewing has to offer, as well as more visits to Rock Island Coffee.
Thank you for a great place to stop, hydrate and rejuvenate on the Rock Island Trail!
Awesome little coffee stand inside Crane. Espresso only drinks, but the americano was a delicious change from my normal black coffee!! They roast their own beans too which is a nice touch ☕️

Excellent drinks and friendly customer service! Cool spot for a break on the trail or stopping by for a caffeine boost and a donut!

The coffe place is inside the brewery, so don't miss it. They were very kind and helped me with my girlfriend's spilt coffee
