LaMar's Donuts and Coffee

Cashier was impatient and annoyed that I asked questions. My husband says they're the best doughnuts. I won't buy from them so I can't speak to the quality.

I spent time to pre-order $102 worth of donuts with no discount. The manager stated that she had been there for some time and totally messed up the order. They crammed 5 dozen donuts in a box so they were pancakes. and they looked terrible. This was for a child's birthday party. They were to be boxed separate and I stated as such, she said that's the way we do things. I said 3 times it was bad customers service and not once did she offer to make it right or apologize. She said have a nice day and shoved them at me. She did NOT care at all! I was taking the donuts to my child's school for his birthday and when I got there I heard 2 more horrible stories about Lamar's and one was ordering weekly large quantities and ended up having to discontinue getting them because of the manager's bad attitude and service. I am an executive and if I had a manager with this attitude costing me business she would be GONE! We did spend money often in this store and as of today NO MORE business from us until she is gone. If the owner or district manager cares this will be addressed, and it will tell a lot of how they do business.

Best donuts anyone I know has ever had. Never met a person who had Lamars regular glazed, that didn't say it was the best glazed donut they have ever had.

Never had a donut I didn't love from Lamar's! They are the BEST in KC and on the entire planet! Don't wait around in the morning if you want the full selection... Early bird gets the worm, but it's so worth it! There's a reason they sell out quickly!

Best donuts in Kansas City. The staff always seems to be a little groggy, however I can't really blame them considering they start their shifts at 5:00.

These guys make their donuts fresh every morning and they are delicious. They have been around for about 80+ years and they have some really good specialty donuts. I recommend the apple fritter, the German knot, and the Bismark long John. You will not be disappointed.

Staff is friendly yet fast. If you see a line don't let it dissuade you from going in as they move through it pretty fast. Goes without saying the donuts are fantastic.

LaMars makes the best donuts in KC. The Lees Summit store is no exception. My wife and I get donuts here about once a month.

They have a frequent shopper card so you get free donuts from time to time as well. I would definitely go here if you haven't been.

Oh man!!! Do I love me some Lamar's pastries!!!!! The stock donut (fried and glazed) is big and fluffy! It is a mouth full of heavenly goodness!!! And that's just the starting point!!!!!!!!!! Don't even get me going on the ginormous cinnamon roll... I will have a melt down right here! Might as well admit it I'm addicted to Lamar's!

Why oh why are they not open at night???????
