LaMar's Donuts and Coffee

I placed an order for CHOCOLATE RAISED, chocolate frosted with sprinkles
When I arrived I spoke to the woman who took my order and she said it's perfect. IT wasn't what I ordered.

The baked goods are always fresh and the employees are awesome! Thank you, guys!

Used to love this location ...however half the time I get donuts they are not fresh ...almost like day olds...inconsistencies are horrible...sometimes more than not yhe chocolate white fluff filled long johns hardly have any fluff in them..I live in lees summit so it sucks that the one in blue springs is always fresh.... Seems to be getting worse...my wife doesn't even want any from Lee's Summit location anymore!

Omg, these doughnuts are so good. I've lived all over the US and LaMar's doughnuts are by far my favorite! The team at this store are great - very friendly and fast. I arrived and was immediately a little deterred by the line down the side of the building (Covid thing), but it went really fast. A+ experience and best doughnuts in KC Area.

Always tasty donuts and amazing staff!

I picked up 90 donuts on my way to see residents at Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center (Best Skilled nursing and rehab facility in the area). LaMar's was organized, fast and delicious. The residents and staff loved the donuts. I'll be back!

Stopped at 2 separate locations, 2 hours before close, and they were sold out completely at one store and had a very limited selection at the other. Employees seemed unapologetic, apathetic and apparently choose to only cater to customers at 7 am. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but will be going elsewhere from now on.

The donuts are always freezing cold. Today my chocolate covered donuts are not edible. They are not cooked. Basically a ring of dough. Had to throw them out.
Overpriced is to be expected. I'm sure they can't afford rent selling donuts. I don't mind paying extra. But anyone who says these are good donuts has never been south of where they are standing now. You can stop at any shop in the south and get a better donut. We won't go back. Donuts are terrible for you. There are better ways to treat the kids than poisoning them with uncooked dough and cheap icing.

Employees are not trained, don’t know what donuts to put in the box, get their feelings hurt when corrected make excuses for their inexperience and then run their mouths like they have a voice. Only option around for donuts or they would certainly be closed. It’s a shame they represent an iconic local KC brand in such a horrible way. Worst of it is what appeared to be the manager allowing it.

There is a middle aged Black gentlemen, didn’t get his name but he is the only one with any sense and was great to deal with as he stepped in to resolve the issue. Working for the news paper I will be sure to write honestly about both experiences and make the KC public well aware of my experience in the column I write.
