Close due to staffing?? I've never been here before so I was wanting to experience your business for the first time and you can't even keep the lobby closed but keep your drive through open???

If you're going to be one of those businesses that put up a piece of paper that says closed due to staffing anytime you feel like it. I live in Raytown and I drove here to experience your coffee.....to bad you don't want to acquire new customers.

Best coffee shop ever 💗 Great hidden gem in Lee's Summit. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and proud about his Ethiopian coffee. They also serve Crepes on the weekends and I'm very excited to be back to try them! The Apple Pie Chai is DELICIOUS. I also had a vanilla cappuccino that was perfect 👌
Amazing small local buisness with an awesome owner, who really loves what he does. He will answer any question you could have. Drive through coming soon!

Update: Weekend Crepes are delicious! They were so big and stuffed. I love the turkey and sundried tomato!!! Also had a sign about rolled ice cream I'll have to try next.

I stopped into Ahadu's drive-thru looking for an afternoon pick-me-up and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a 16 oz iced latte breve w/ extra espresso (which is 2 shots according to the menu) and sugar free vanilla. The espresso was so smooth and flavorful. There was a hint of vanilla which I appreciated, because I'm not too big on sweet coffee. But this coffee was not bitter or unpleasant in any way so you honestly don't need a bunch of add-ins. If I am in the area again I will definitely stop by.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are kind and the coffee is the best I've had in the area so far. The drive thru is a plus+

Need to get the Adadu special, it’s a sweet latte, I like mine iced! They’re savory and sweet crepes are great too! Owner is so sweet and they also have really good muffins. Drive through coming, which is a big plus!

Family-owned local coffee shop! Was finally able to visit today--twice in one day! Ethically-sourced single-origin coffees. Non-dairy milk options for my vegan teen. I learned on my morning visit there was going to be a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony in the afternoon so I had to come back. One of the owners made the Sidamo today. While sitting on a mat by our tables, she pan-roasted the beans, ground them (in back), and brewed them in a traditional Jebena vessel. It was wonderful! Customer service was spot-on and the location is perfect-right between Waldo Pizza and the movie theater. Clean restrooms and nice small-group meeting space, too. Bonus- they support the local school district. Will definitely be back!

Excellent coffee. Ahadu Special and the Chai tea is AMAZING!! Overtones of ginger, cinnamon, & cardamom. Teddy, the owner, really takes care of u!!
