This is a pretty new coffeeshop that we go to occasionally only because it's a 30+ minute drive for us. There are only a select few coffeeshops worthy of the drive. The Coffee is very good and the service and friendliness are even better. Tried a scone today made by Scratch bakery and they never disappoint. This shop is definitely on our go to list!

Very cute coffee shop. Co-owner Brian knows coffee better than most and can make you an insanely delicious drink. Plenty of options for pastries and all I’ve tried are great. Local art on display and plenty of seating to chill.

Great espresso and fast, friendly service in a bright, open spot downtown with plenty of seating. There were a few pastries in the counter too that looked really yummy

We tried out waterbirds this morning;
Coffee was excellent, and Chi latte had a good cinnamon taste!
We tried out a few things - all the poptarts- wild berry, blueberry, cinnamon, and also a blueberry scone.
Unfortunately, they didn't have a way to warm up the items, so that was a little downside.
Floor needs work instead of just paint over!

Waterbird coffee encompasses a wide range of important parts of the coffee culture. I have been in and around the coffee community throughout Kansas City for years. The owners truly have a strong sense of discipline towards great coffee while holding a humble attitude and are driving their own personality and signature to how they do it. It’s nice to see a coffee shop that knows the ropes of what the demographic of people are looking for out of coffee and at the same time maintaining a strong diligence on how to serve our community.

Down to earth, easy to talk to talk to, and wonderful coffee

I am looking forward to seeing how their driving sense of passion and love to serve others in the community develops over the years.

If you are from Kansas City or dropping in from out of town; this coffee shop holds a strong integrity to provide anyone and everyone that walks through the doors to have an experience worth remembering.

I'm done with Starbucks!!! This is my new FAVORITIST place to be!!!! Fabulous coffee, peaceful, and absolutely EXCELLENT customer service!!! In fact a level of customer service only owners of a business would be able to provide and that's because the only employees are the two owners of the business!!!! Good luck to y'all!!!

Fantastic customer service! Personal touch. Local owners! Special flavors are great. My personal fave is the honey lavender latte with almond milk. It's just perfect.

Great coffee and pastries, I had a blueberry muffin, (I should have gotten 1 to go)!

I got a cold brew and my husband got a peppermint mocha. Both were delicious!! Kind, quick service. Worth checking out if you're looking for a new spot!
