Waterbird Coffee Company

Wanted to try this place since they're new; have had two chances to do so after this morning. The cappuccino is excellent; if you've ordered one from Intelligentsia in Chicago, the taste and texture will seem familiar. Easily the best one I've found in KC.

Interior design is either minimalist or still taking shape - hard to say with a new place, but curious where that goes. Will be back to find out.

Consistently some of the best coffee in the city, both espresso and drip. Owners are super friendly and will nerd out about coffee as much as you want.

Probably the BEST cortado I've had in a LONG time. I love the location and the staff here. It's great to grab a cup of coffee before hitting up power&light or the tmobile center. Good quality people, location, and drinks!

Small coffee shop right by the courthouse. Good for a break on jury duty days. Good coffee, good natured, good pastries (fresh pop tarts anyone?) What more could you ask for?

Their Spring flavour honey lavender is exactly what my soul wanted today. The brew is perfect!
