Second Best Coffee

I wanted to love this place, but I didn't feel warm and welcome. I had the lemon thyme cookie which was great, the texture was spot on, and the the lemon wasn't too much. For my drink I had a blueberry juniper latte which was AMAZING! The made in house syrup definitely speaks volumes!

It was a calm and nice place. I enjoyed my capuccino and would recommend this coffee shop if you are around.

This is truly a gem. Some of the best coffee and hands down takes the best espresso drinks in the area. If you love coffee this is a must.

Now that I've taken to making decent coffee at home, this is one of the few shops I'll go out of my way to visit.

The Baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and care about their work. The pour over selections are carefully selected and very high quality. It's been a while since I've ordered a speciality espresso drink, but I recall the last one I got being excellent.

Otherwise, a very cool place to visit and hang out. Vibes remind me of an 70s/80s dentist office...dimly lit and wood grain everywhere.

Probably the worst cup of coffee ever. Servers were brusk, no sweetener, loud ethnic music mixed with rap, couldn't hear myself think. Never returning!

This place is called second best, but it is terrific. Definitely one of the top 5 coffee shops in the KC metro.

I think this is the best coffee place in town! Love their specialty menu that we can only find there! Got this drink below, I can’t remember the full name but it is something like school lunch box. It even has a little note from “mom”. Their unique touch really brings this coffee shop to the whole new level! Definitely worth driving to for a drink!

What a hidden gem! Had no idea that this wonderful little place was in my backyard. Excellent atmosphere to catch up with a friend or study and sometimes even meet new people. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, plus those maple almond scones are killer. Will be going back!

Adorable and cozy place close to my house. They’re always playing jams too. They’re friendly and the low key atmosphere is everything. And the coffee is hot!

My favorite coffee roaster in Kansas City - always a must stop on the way from the airport to my family's home. Their espresso is some of the best.

A bit off the beaten path, and well worth it. Great humans work there, too.
