This place has a really cool atmosphere and very interesting flavor combinations and ideas. The cocoa and the mocha both, in my opinion could have been served a little hotter, they were just above lukewarm. The pastries all were a little more brown than I would prefer which made them a little bitter but it seemed to be that way across all their pastries, maybe thats how they prefer it. But the blueberry mojito pastry and the chai roll were great. The ham and cheddar croissant was amazing, had a dash of horseradish in that was a very pleasant surprise. 11/10 would return here to try everything.

This is a great place to eat and for our community. Food at brunch was fantastic. Avocado Toast very good. Staff was attentive and cheerful. Very good vibe here. May it last a long time! Definitely will return.

Good coffee. I loved the space and the concept of the coffee shop. I couldn’t tried the pastries since I went almost at closing time but I’ll try next time.

I stopped in to sit and have some tea while checking my work emails. The atmosphere is always great, good service, and good beverages. I had the osmanthus hot tea. It was very light and perfect for this cool morning. I will definitely stop in again.

The options for seating!!!! Such a great place to gather… sit alone… chat… work… study!!! Yummy pastries and a great cup of tea made my afternoon!

Always great service, coffee, and food. Couldn't resist buying a rosemary loaf too. Messenger is always a must when we are in Kansas City.

What a gem of a coffee shop. You will never go to a Starbucks if you are in downtown KC. This three level coffee roaster and bakery has great food and a wide variety of morning/brunch coffees and teas.

We need more places like this in every community. Cheers to the owners and employees who take pride in what they do.

Excellent Bakery! The toffee chocolate cookie is one of the best I've ever had. It was perfectly soft on the inside and had the perfect amount of crunch on the outside. I got through most of the cookie before realizing I wanted to get a picture of it.

I visited Kansas City for the first time this week. I am moving to this city next month and I am so happy to find this place! The place os beautiful and the staff os friendly. The pastries are delicious and gorgeous. I am definitely coming back.
