Brick and Spoon is an enigma. The mimosas are good, the staff is (mostly) friendly, and the brunch menu is decent but not show stopping when you compare it to the price. Now let's talk about the part I wasn't super thrilled about: the pancakes. Even though they looked perfect they tasted a bit burnt, and the syrup has a very odd flavor and very little sweetness. They also forgot to add my chocolate chips but at least it wasn't on my bill. All in all not a bad place to stop, but it won't be my go to.

Food was freshly prepared and delicious.
They were a bit busy but the servers kept up.

The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the original Eggs Benedict plate; however, the eggs were not poached and came out hard boiled. I was in a little bit of a hurry and didn't have time for them to remake it. Everything else I had was good and they had some tasty looking menu options. Prices are very reasonable.

Let me start with the good, the server was very nice, the hostess was very nice, the restaurant was clean, the grits were delicious!

My wife ordered a salad that was supposed to have Strawberries, Spinach, Avocado, Cashews and Red Onions. There were no Cashews, there was a half of an avocado under the salad not sliced on one one side. The Strawberries were obviously old, and about 2 of them total, in the picture it shows all the Strawberries that were in the salad. Then, about halfway through our meal, our server brings my wife a side of grilled chicken that she claimed they forgot to put in the salad. The menu did not include chicken on this salad so we were really confused.

Overall I would say we were just let down because of high expectations from the reviews. Again, staff was very nice, grits were delicious.

I've eaten at the B&S about 5 times now. I always get the Killer Creole Omelette. I've recommended it to many of my family and friends along with the pancakes. However the last two visits have been less than impressive. The pancake on the last visit was just bad .. very flat with a chewy texture that was difficult to cut with a fork. The omelette was very good but had about a fourth of the shrimp and sausage than prior visits; it was more of a creole flavored omelette that an omelette with proper fillings. I was disappointed because I had bragged how good it was and was dining with my sister and it was her first visit. At its best it is one of the best places to eat at in Tupelo. 3 stars is generous based on my last experience, but I'm trying to be mindful of the difficult times businesses are experiencing with inflation and work shortages.

We were in town from Savannah for our daughter's baby shower and what a very pleasant surprise to find this gem here in Tupelo. MS. First of all, this place has all the taste of real deal Louisiana cuisine at it's finest. My husband and I were very pleased with ALL of the food and the excellent service from the manager(who ran the restaurant like a well oiled machine) and our server Nicole. It was her first day working there and she did a wonderful job. The presentation of the cuisine was appealing to the eye as well as delicious. The BEST breakfast you will ever have anywhere, and we travel a lot! Bravo Brick and Spoon. The only thing that would make it better, is if you open a restaurant in Savannah, GA!!!

This is an amazing breakfast spot. The bananas foster French toast is the best breakfast I have ever had. The portion size was enough for 2 really. I loved the atmosphere as well. Service was fast and friendly.

Always good food. A little less busy than I expected for Memorial Day. Shrimp and grits was a winner. Always have good music.

As a party of 3 adults and 2 babies, we were charged a large party fee of 20%. I asked our server about it she was rude and rolled her eyes. We were set to tip more than 20% until we realized we had already been charged for a tip. I’m happy to tip for good service but I hate when it is forced on me. I wouldn’t exactly consider 3 adults and 2 babies a large party. Additionally, the portion sizes of some of the meals were incredibly small. Not enough food to be filling.

Absolutely love this place the flavors are always phenomenal. Great atmosphere for brunch with live music. The deviled eggs are to die for and the build your own bloody Mary's are everything.
