Good food, local place, nice people, thought the chefs were going to entertain us with their singing. But I think they were singing with playlist. Either way I loved it. Ask about the ducks.

Not for tourists. Bad attitude from the owner when cashing out. Think it’s just for the ‘good ole boys’

Magnifico! On sleepy little university drive lies this gem. The staff is kind and welcoming. We had breakfast - a "hungryman" assortment. It was terrific. We will be back!

Would love to give this place five stars, but due to the fact you can NEVER order pickup it really blows. Not everyone is able to come in and sit and even if some of us could we wouldn’t be able to because there’s always a line out the door. Severely understaffed, underprepared, never too kind to customers, not enough seating. The food has always been great..the 3 x i was ever able to get it. But sadly I like most people have a job and can’t dine in because every time i’m off you’re closed. make pick up available and if not you shouldn’t offer it and the toast tab or doordash, just remove yourself and save everyone the disappointment.

Exactly what we needed. Friendly staff and delicious food. The prices were great too. Wo definitely return next time I’m in town.
QUESTION: We ordered the duck butter to go. (I don’t know what they put in it but it’s outstanding). Does it need to be refrigerated?

Waffles were unfortunately crusty and hard. Duck syrup is stellar! Biscuits and gravy was solid.

Absolutely loved it. It was so good. It was the perfect breakfast date spot. We had an amazing time. The food was delicious and the waitress was amazing as well.

Aside from the hamburger steak, I would stick with breakfast. That caramelized syrup called "duck butter" is it! They really need to clean the bathrooms

Breakfast was hot and fresh

We love Starkville cafe enough that we drive a half hour nearly every weekend just for breakfast. It’s nothing fancy; just good food and great people. It’s always just as advertised - hometown food in a hometown atmosphere.
