Beagle Bagel Madison

This is NOT like the BB I was accustomed to eating at from Ridgeland on County Line Rd. I use to eat at that location at least once a week! It's rare that I make it to Madison so when I did a restaurant search and saw it was near, I had to go!

Ordered the chicken salad on an everything bagel. Mayo. Lettuce. Pretty simple. Got the sandwich to go but when I got ready to eat it I like to broke a tooth on the bread because it was so hard! This is a common sandwich people, c'mon let's get it right!

When I went we were the only customers so they weren't busy. They picked up the bagel so they had to know that it was harder than it should be.

The store is in an inconvenient location IMO but so is everything else in Madison. Signs on the ground with bushes covering them? Brilliant idea! This location needs the GPS on to find it or call ahead and ask what is it near. Otherwise it will be a small miracle to find. Unless you live in Madison and have become use to looking downward while you drive. The dumbest thing I've ever seen other than all of the bricks!

Now for the positive side. The place was super clean when we were there. Tables were empty but they were all clean and so were the chairs. Staff was busy talking to each other and more concerned about their convo than waiting on us (probably why they gave us a rock hard bagel?) but since we got it to go I couldn't get them to switch it out or show my rainbow of sunshine personality when they didn't.

This restaurant has a lot of potential if they could find good help. Drill sergeant for a manager? A manager who knows how to actually manage and a staff who has customers as the #1 thing on their minds. It's hard these days to find people like that but when you do, pay them well and skimp on the ones that suck royally at their supposedly job they're (not) doing.

I've been back to this BB since the first experience and I've ordered the exact same sandwich made the exact same way. The 2nd time my bagel was soft and delicious like it's supposed to be! I always like to give a place another chance to redeem themselves before I post a bad review bc everyone has a bad day. This staff has more than one but they did finally get my order correct. There's not a single place, be it a restaurant, office or retail, I know of that doesn't have employees who are there just for the money and stand around like in my first experience. Who kmows maybe they're fired by now? Either way I'd check your bagel for softness and your order for accuracy. Staff is the problem, not the food. The food is great! We will be returning again and trying something else out. Hopefully we'll be able to get a better staff situation.

Any of the meat combos are good (even breakfast) but my favorite is the chicken salad!
Bagel chips
ALL of their delicious desserts! Just raid the dessert display. You won't find anything wrong.

These are just a few of my favorites that I have enjoyed. Get dessert. You want dessert. You don't want to leave BB without it! IF ONLY THE STAFF COULD BE JUST AS SWEET!

Very good food, I like the chicken salad bagel. My favorite dessert here is the caramel cake, it is absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the bagels, either get the chicken salad Bagel or pizza bagel.

Not clean. Lady at counter was not friendly. I lost my appetite.

First time there and I'll never go back. Customer service was horrible. They walked around me like I wasn't there taking care of people behind me while my food sat getting cold on the counter. Bagel was burnt. Computers were down... The bagels were very small. Einstein Bagels are far more worth it than spending money at Beagle Bagel in Madison, MS

Bagels and cinnamon rolls were delicious! Super clean and took home some extra yummy pimento cheese. Definitely worth the 5 minute drive off the interstate.

Needed couple bagel and pastry trays last second... I've had other places panic when show up needing 2-3dozen bagels and pastries... not Beagle Bagel Madison... these dogs can hunt. Set me up quickly with perfect party trays and all extras. Thanks!

The chicken salad is to die for a little pricey but always fresh and delicious. Staff is diverse in color which I admire being in the South and i can usually pair up thr chicken salad in different ways: on crackers or in a wrap once i get it home.

I'm visiting from out of state so this is my first visit. Staff is awesome friendly. Lox bagel was superb. Hope I can get there again.

It was my first time to dine here and I LOVED it! I had a chicken salad sandwich that was SO GOOD. Their sweet tea was on spot, too. 👍👍

A bit on the pricey side, but fresh and great tasting! Employees aren't overly friendly, but always nice. Very comfortable and relaxed inside.
