Wonderful cafe in tiny Tofte. Small menu with few bad choices, stocked desert case, lots of gluten-free options, and a short walk from the water!

Vegan options. This far north you accept what you get when it comes to vegan options. My wife is allergic to dairy and we don't eat meat. They have fake eggs if you want, also a dairy free cheese and meat alternative. Very nice to see in northern MN. Even if it's just from Costco. They do a great job at masking that it's premade, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Worth a stop. Especially nice to have close by is you're staying at Bluefin Bay Resort.

Worst service ever! We waited forever (over 80 minutes) for a pizza and it wasn't busy! Pizza was average.

Ate one breakfast and two dinners while enjoying the fall colors along the north s h ore of Lake Superior. Great food.

We take an annual trip up to Bluefin Bay each August and enjoy many meals at Coho Cafe while we’re there.
My favorite breakfast dish is the French toast and I absolutely LOVE the baked mac n cheese for dinner. Their oat milk latte is also super yummy! Oh, and any of the cookies we’ve tried were delicious!
The customer service is impeccable. We have been at some very busy times and the staff tolerates the rush like no big deal. Everyone was wonderful although this time around, the employee named Ryan really stuck out. Ryan was friendly, patient, helpful, and even interacted well with my kids and their friends.
I would definitely recommend Coho Cafe!!!

Ate here on 10.02.21
Food was excellent. We got the formaggi pizza for the kids (they devoured it, and we probably would too), bacon Alfredo pizza, waffle and chicken, and an Italian soda.
Everything was great, and the people behind the counter were just as awesome. Definitely would visit again.
It is a little on the more expensive side if you're looking for family dining but the food did not disappoint.

Casual dining with excellent sandwiches and desserts. You order at the counter, choose a table, and they'll bring out your order when it's ready. Wonderful fresh bread available for purchase, and ice cream served at the counter. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and there was no problem when our party needed to split the bill three ways.

Had lunch here TWICE with my wife and it was great but mainly because of tip top service from Ryan. Order the quesdilla if you aren't sure about what to get, jerk chicken is also good. But Ryan's service and attentiveness created such a welcoming Atmosphere that we came back two days in a row, and felt the need to review.

Busy Sunday morning and the meal I ordered, the Omelette with Hashbrowns, was very good.

Very good service and the food was tasty. I felt a bit rushed though because seating is limited and people were lining up waiting for seats. The price was reasonable.
