Coho has been a must-stop in the past for us as their baked goods and pastries are to die for and lunch has always been solid up until this point. Our experience yesterday was so outside the norm I had to write this review: The dining room floor was visibly dirty with pieces of food strewn around the base of tables; a stack of ragged paper napkins was in use as a shim under one table’s legs. In the ladies’ room, two soap dispensers were empty, and a third soap canister was set on the sink to pump directly from that. Ingredients were missing from the bagel sandwich I ordered (in addition to the ingredient I had asked to be omitted), and my partner ordered the turkey bagel sandwich and was given the Italian meats sandwich instead. We had to go back to the counter on two separate occasions to inquire as to missing food and a drink we ordered. The last piece of missing food we followed up on resulted in a slice of cake about half the size of a normal slice. It wasn’t busy enough to excuse these lapses in service. All in all, expensive and disappointing, and we’ll avoid in the future unless it’s for grab-and-go pastries.

Cozy and comfortable is a great way to describe both the atmosphere and the mac n' cheese! Bakery items were delicious as well. Prices are typical North Shore Tourist inflated but no more so than any where else in the area.

My lunch was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I ordered the Blue-L-T, which is basically a BLT with gorgonzola, and it was fantastic. I also got a side salad with their garlic vinaigrette. The greens were crisp and fresh, and the dressing was light and flavorful! Highly recommend for a quick lunch stop.

Masks were required at the time of this posting. They had a cup for clean and dirty pens. They also had plastic dividers between the cashier and where you place your order, so I was happy with their Covid protections as well.

Skillet potatoes were not fried. Tasted out of a can or boiled. Al dente and bacon undercooked.

Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Highly recommend.

An amazing location on the way to Grand Marais or at the end of a trip to Kawishiwi Lake/BWCA. Great patio seating and mask enforcement during COVID. Everything is local and fresh so it’s pretty spendy, but we’ve yet to have a bad experience here.

Super good pizza! Very spicy Italian sausage! Short wait, even tho they were busy!

Yummy to this place for breakfast and pastries and such. I am in love with the monster cookies I had 2 that day after a long hike. The Denver's eggs were phenomenal and the lady who served us a young lady was so sweet. Thank you Marica you were outstanding and great recommendations!!! Hope to see you guys again soon. Cao

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Coho! As someone who is gluten and dairy free, it was awesome to be able to talk to the crew and create a gluten and dairy free hot sandwich that I could enjoy! High quality service and food! The rest of the group was happy with their orders as well :)

Ordered the Lox Bagel Sandwich for carry out. Staff was very patient, and kind. Food was a great value for price. $13 for a bagel meal, large portion, high quality, freshly prepared, and tasty.
