This is a tough review. The place was complete chaos. You order as you come in. But the line was off to the side. You get to the counter and order. Then go sit down. But from there it was awesome. Great food really. The service was fast even though there didn't seem to be enough servers. Truly the fast food chains could learn from these guys! Oh yeah then you had to clean your own table.

Had lunch here on a Monday while staying in Tofte. It’s a cute quiet little place with a window that overlooks the lake. It was not too busy, only 2-3 other parties while we were there. You order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table w/ cloth napkins and silverware. Once done, there’s a little station for you to deposit your dishes/trash w/ takeout boxes available for leftovers. Service was average, but nothing to complain about.
I had the Mac and cheese, it was good. In hindsight, I should’ve ordered a more “exciting” meal. My boyfriend had the Walleye tacos w/ chips and salsa. The tacos were great but I felt they were a bit pricey ($20). Then again, I’m not sure what the going rate for Walleye is so I may be mistaken. Chips/salsa were good, typical.

All this to say it was a good experience. I would go again to try other meals and enjoy the quaint environment.

4.4 stars in my opinion. Order at the counter and self service coffee etc. Good value. My hash browns were not hot this time and a bit dry, but I have had a delicious breakfast sandwich here before. Nice outdoor seating area.

Always enjoy stopping at the cozy Coho Cafe & Bakery in Tofte when exploring the North Shore. Great espresso drinks, sandwiches, pizza and bakery treats to spoil you during your travels in any season. Check it out!

Coho offers a limited breakfast menu. The setting a nice and clean. While offering a comfortable seating area it lacks in charm if a typical coffee shop.
In the summer it offers outdoor seating that looks like it very nice.
The cinnamon roll was a disappointment but the rest of the breakfast was great.

We had a warm lunch after a cold rainy hike and happy to find Coho! The two working were very busy but very good. The sitting area inside is cozy but they had a covered deck where we sat. It’s a beautiful location! We ordered the Margarita pizza (5/5), Mac No’ Cheese (4/5), and a Club (5/5) with Kettle Chips. My only regret was not trying the flapjack cake in the display case! We both thought it was on the more expensive side and on a busy day it might be hard to find a place to sit. We would return to try more menu items, preferably during breakfast hours!

Great service and some of the best food we've had on the Notth Shore. Coffee was phenomenal as well. We skipped the dessert and lived ro regret it. We've been thinking of the pie and cake ever since we left.

Coho is a nice place to enjoy meal. Nice sitting area, variety of cakes and good coffee.

The ancient grain crossaint and cinnamon roll was delicious. We got the eggs benedict and wild rice biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. We were disappointed by how long our food sat under the heat lamp. The salad was warm and soggy and eggs benedict was hard boiled. There was barely any wild rice in the biscuits and gravy.

Ordered a Sawbill trail mix salad. It should’ve had apples, walnuts, , feta ,raisins and cranberries. I waited over 30 min and when it finally came there were no apples or walnuts. Very disappointing. I did not have time to sit and eat it or return it as I had a flight to catch and never anticipated it’d take over 30 min for a salad this simple.
