I usually like Coho Cafe & Bakery for fresh bread and other baked goods but something about the cafe has changed for the worse.

There is an early morning crowd right away at open at 8:00 a.m. and you stand in line at the register to order and pay for your food and then it's open seating.

There's a decent amount of seating both indoors and on the patio, but it's not a huge space.

There's a full espresso drink menu and the mocha I had was good. The breakfast burritos were among some of the best we've had. They also have plenty of bread, pastries and sandwiches that are pre-made and ready to go.

This is really a solid stop for a North shore breakfast!

Best food that I've had on the north shore. I had the grilled veggie sandwich, my husband had The Club, and we share a piece of blueberry flapjack cake for dessert. My husband also said the coffee is some of the best he's had. We wished we lived closer so we could come more often.

We ate lunch here after hiking the Temperance River and it was great. Very cute deck area where we could eat with our dog. The grilled veggie sandwich and salad with maple Dijon was fantastic.

Great breakfast - good portions, great food, decent price. The breakfast pizza is surprisingly good!

Payment system down ( I don't fault them for that) food took way too long, and the chicken and waffles were terrible. The chicken was extremely thin strips that was 2/3rds breading and tasted fake. Portion was way to small for the price. Not enough employees. Try harder next time.

FYI: there’s a separate dinner menu. How did we know? Well, after we placed our order and while waiting the table next to us got things not on the regular menu.

Be prepared for a wait. We came in & it suddenly brought in about a dozen people.. we ordered first but noticed two tables got their food before ours.

I ordered 1/2 sandwich & salad with garlic vinegerette.. no condiments offered or on it & after waiting 45 min I dive until into the sandwich & both were extremely tasty.

Hubby got the steak tacos. $20 for 3. He took one bite and emptied the contents into the tray. The flour shell was ice cold. There was open pit bbq sauce on top. It was barely edible but he ate part of 1 and trashed the rest.

Based on my food I’d recommend this place over their ‘upscale’ Blue Fin Grill next door.

Worst iced latte I can ever remember having, and I'm 38 years old and well traveled. It tasted like they took what was left when they rinsed out the coffee pot and added 24 shots of flavored syrup. I know the gal behind the counter was young, but she must not know what coffee or espresso is supposed to taste like in ANY form. It was as if you had a 7 year old make what they thought coffee should taste like. I've had cotton candy that was not as sweet as this concoction. It made a plastic bottle of gas station brand coffee taste like coffee from a French Bistro.

I would normally just drink a bad latte so I didn't waste my money, but I could not even stomach it. I was sleepy from a long drive and even the thought of being too tired to drive couldn't give me the strength to finish the drink. I took two sips and then let my fiancée try it to make sure that I wasn't crazy and threw it in the garbage at the holiday down the road. Nice looking place, but you gotta have substance. $7 in the garbage.

Another personal favorite for our family that we have to make sure we get a stop in. Nice little Cafe and bistro, with good food, bakery, coffee and sweets to choose from. Had chicken and waffles, didn't know what to expect. It was pretty good, notably the gravy for the chicken and the waffles. Also had the Onion River Reuben and home made macaroni and cheese, which the kids loved. The kids chose to pass on dessert in case we had s'mores later...who passes on chocolate cream pie for that??? Come on! Ruined my day.

The food and service is always good here, however, my daughter has a service dog who she needs to take everywhere with her due to medical reasons and she was told multiple times in a row by the same staff member that she had to sit outside. She told him her dog is a service animal, and he said I understand but you still have to go outside. To which my daughter said under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) it was illegal to force her to sit outside for her meal. He looked away and said “okay”.

Under the ADA, businesses cannot legally “refuse entry, isolate, or segregate against handler” which is exactly what he was doing until it was let go. Had she been made to sit outside she would have reported to the ADA and we would have found a more educated establishment to attend. She has asked me to put this review up in the hopes this establishment can become more educated as well as train staff in the same way. This is an uninformed version of discrimination.

We both look forward to returning for a better experience as all of our others here have been.
