One of my favorite coffee shops in the Twin Cities. Staff are really friendly, engaged and helpful — I appreciate you guys so much! Reliable wifi and good food (esp the salad, the snack plate and the croissants). Coffee is on point, best I've tasted in the are area. A few notes: first, like most coffee shops, no brewed decaf and no option for pourover, so you're stuck with a decaf Americano if you're looking to avoid caffeine. And owners: please add your food menu to the website, even if it's just a photo of the in-store menu! Love you guys xoxo

I love this shop. You've gotta try their quiche and iced miels!
I'm so glad I could help help support them through the difficult year of 2020 and can visit them more in the coming years!

The chairs are actually comfortable. The service is awesome. The vibe is good. Art work is rotated. People are often there to accomplish something, and I feel that when I come here and work. It is my favorite coffee shop in the TC.

I've somehow ended up there nearly every day they've been open. It's a great atmosphere for getting some work done, hanging with friends and family, or just talking coffee with Ty. There are lots of power outlets, they have reliable wifi, and the background music is never obtrusive or loud. I'm thankful for Workhorse Coffee Bar!

Order off the menu: as for a "Hannah" for a strong hazelnut macchiato (sized like a strong latte). Hm... I think I'll go get one now!

Workhorse coffee is one of the best small coffee shops in Minneapolis! Great coffee and a wide selection. Great ownership as well! I will definitely be stopping back!

Amazing coffee, like wow what a latte. Also the interior and ambiance are beautiful and the staff have eclectic but excellent music tastes. Ty (owner) is an actual literal angel. I love everyone in this (coffee)bar.

I would give it 5 stars but this was my 1st experience and hopefully not my last. I really appreciated the morning courtesy and chirpiness from the owner (i believe) and their staff. I clearly was having problems (pre coffee) making a choice but they were so patient and thorough in explaining such a simple question of their dark roast and light roast. I went with the advice they gave me..and I and my tastebuds don't regret it.

Construction was a bit annoying and made it hard to recognize the business but it's definitely a must go back for me.

Good coffee shop with some nice smaller food options. Their miel is really tasty and the prices are reasonable. The owner, Ty, and the rest of the staff are super friendly and will keep me coming back. Great addition to the neighborhood and community.

I rarely find a cafe miel, my favorite drink. This one was brewed perfectly!

This is my favorite coffee shop in St Paul. It's lively and cozy, with a great food menu and tons of good drinks. The small art installation (Smallest Museum in St Paul) has rotating exhibits to check out each month.
