Dunn Brothers Coffee

This is my 3rd time coming here! 5 stars! First time I ordered a carmal almond latte litterly amazing second and 3rd time I ordered food and this time when I ordered my food I said I'll just wait few minutes outside come back and check if my sandwiches are done before I even was going to check if my sandwiches where done one of the employees came all the way out to bring me my breakfast sandwiches I can not fit everything in such a small review but this place is truly wonderful 😊

Great staff, warm n welcoming. Diligent on all the customizable options u can have with ur coffee. Always my fav coffee shop to stop at if ur in the savage area.

I have only had good experiences here... Friendly staff, good drinks, nice atmosphere. Only 'complaint' (if you can call it that) about Dunn Bros. in general, is that the prices seem a little higher than competitors, but it's not by much. On the up-side, I really like their app and rewards program! Great coffee.

Tip: If it's in season, try the Pumpkin Pie Latte! It's the best pumpkin latte out there!!

Update: Still a strong 5-star! Stopped in recently and the owner and I had a nice chat while I waited for my coffee drink to be made. I also tried an edible straw and just want to mention it because they are fun and only $0.50 right now!! Give it a try, people! Super fun!! Such friendly and helpful baristas here too. Always a joy to stop in at this location!

Great place, very clean and quiet for studying! I have to add wonderful service! Their sandwiches are so amazing!! The owner was so very kind and concerned if I wouldn’t enjoy the sandwich he had made. However, it was so delicious! I am definitely coming back! Great to see plant based options for the picky eaters like me.

I've been coming here for years. I love the atmosphere, and it's some of the best coffee I've tasted, even all over the world. I only wish there was a little more cozy seating, but they do a great job with the space they have. The service is always knowledgeable and friendly, as well.

Was taken care of every step of the way. The food looked spectacular, and the customer service was impeccable. I've never eaten at a Dunn bros,but definitely an amazing first impression.

Dunn Brothers has the best coffee hands down. The fun drinks are also wonderful especially their vanilla iced nirvana and peppermint mocha at Christmas. I have never met a more friendly and efficient staff at a coffee shop. They treat you like a friend. I will past the other coffee shops to get to this one.

My favorite coffee chain in the twin cities. The espresso drinks are not watery like at other (mermaid-branded) coffee places, the beans are expertly roasted in-house so you know everything's fresh, and the staff know their product.

I stop by Sharon and Ken's Savage Dunn Bros weekly...they know my drink before I walk through the doors and I keep coming back for more. I love Dunn Bros coffee and the "coffee shop ambiance" is wonderful.

So here's what I'd add, from a "local" point of view...

The coffee here is the same as you'd expect at other Dunn Bros coffee shops - so if you like Dunn Bros coffee, you'll like it here too.

The shop itself is nice with comfortable leather seating in the back, by the gas fireplace and counter-top seating along the windows...and even some tabletops in the middle. It probably seats 20 fairly comfortably, although, it's not often THAT full.

They've added some additional food options lately, panini's, soup, etc. - although, admittedly, I haven't tried any -- I go for the coffee.

My daughter has tried the muffins and other baked goods on occasion and always enjoys them, but it would take a really dry doughnut to disappoint her!

Here's what I'd say in closing....

The coffee shop is what you'd expect...a nice, local coffee shop with great coffee. But the reason I took the time to write this is...the people. I've met everyone who works there - and they all smile and take great pride in their craft. They have good humor about them and work hard at one they do. Culturally speaking, they have a consistent message regardless of who is working and I love buying local.

Tell them you stopped by because "Rich recommended it on Google".

Different coffees that rotate daily, love that they don't ram a trademark "Pike's Place blend" at you everytime you're in there. Being they roast on site, the beans are ultimate fresh and they have a large selection of beans for purchase as well. As they roast, the smells are incredible and you take it with you when you leave. Very personable staff and way cool owners! Oh, they bake on site and make freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches!
