One of my favorite co-ops. It's just on the south end of downtown Rochester but also has a spacious parking lot. They have a really good deli meat selection with low-sodium meats, nice bakery selection and grass fed beef. It's a perfect fit as downtown Rochester is again growing quickly due to the Mayo expansion.

The People's Co-op offers a wide variety of delicious options for creative cooking, especially for those with dietary restrictions. And the cosmetics, hair and body care products are wisely chosen for their customer base. The staff is friendly and their deli counter offers great insight into their meat and cheese pairings. The cafe also provides a great lunch menu offering fresh soups, salads and sandwiches many of which are gluten free.

A great specialty grocery store. They have the best staff and an awesome selection of specialty items. They cater to every diet and the deli is a can’t miss.

My neice works here. She was very helpful. Michelle took her time and showed my husband and I how and where to find gluten free flour, pastas, sauces, every food item a new gluten free diet person would need to know and how to find it. She also us different soap bars as we needed goat milk soap.
This is a place I normally would not go because it is down town Rochester but, we needed some education on gluten free diet. It is a whole new way of eating.

I love the smells of the spices when I walk in the door! I can count on quality products, great customer service and knowledgeable employees!!

Visited this store twice in March 2017 while waiting for my companion to finish at Mayo. The hedges around the parking lot were so fragrant.. in fact the second visit was solely to inquire about the hedges and where to buy some..however, it was the day off for the garden person. I still want to identify the hedges and buy some to plant in Nebraska

Local grocery store, deli, and coffee shop. Honestly, top 5 iced cinnamon roll I've ever had. Great bulk selection (grains, trail mix, chocolate confections), hot and cold food bars, sandwiches and pastries. Nice in store seating area

Great selection for a small Co-op. It Is nice to have options that are far healthier than at the big box stores. Nice deli with good food. It would be nice to have a few more salads with meat. I would definitely recommend this place.

Traditional co-op. Everything you would expect. Fresh selection of produce, plenty of organic options, and guilt-free deserts. Mmmmm my favorite.
A little overpriced than other co-ops. But I reckon it must be difficult to source in Rochester where farms don’t grow a large variety of crops. Only concern was how pushy the cashier was in regards to signing me up for a co-op membership. Apart from that solid place to store up on some groceries for my road trip.
