Old Abe Coffee Shop

Delicious food and drinks, super friendly staff, definitely some of the best vegan food I have ever had. If I didn't know it was vegan, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. I've already tried 3 different bowls and can't wait to get more. I personally am not a person who usually eats vegan, but this food is definitely going into our regular food choices.

If I could learn how to make vegan food taste this good, I would eat vegan more! Excellent food and service!

I like the food. fair price, moderate selection of vegan food/pastries . My fave is the bahn mi (vietnamese sandwich). Yum. Only offer parking in the streets. When I usually go there during summers, I like to seat outside.

Got the Bahn-mi, which was amazing! The vegan donuts were amazing! The coffee, a mocha drink, was... lukewarm and unmixed. It was not amazing. The space was fun and welcoming

My wife and I have eaten a lot of vegetarian/vegan food in a LOT of places. We both agreed Old Abe was easily in the top TWO places!!

She got the springrito with the mock pulled pork and I got the mock bacon bahn mi sandwich. Just unbelievable. Lots of food; tasty, astonishing food. What an amazing place.

If Mayo Clinic is a reason to visit Rochester; believe me, going to Old Abe's and getting vegan food is another, equally good, reason to visit Rochester.

Came here for my birthday as a fairly new vegan with my non vegan family. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal! My kids loved the grilled cheese and my husband is now asking if I can recreate the citrus rib bowl!

I adore this place so much! The food is amazing, and the people there are wonderful. It’s one of me and my moms favorite places to eat out. It can be hard finding food for vegetarians and vegans that isn’t just a side salad or impossible burger. I appreciate your work so much. One thing I would LOVE to see at this restaurant is more bakery treats and BREAKFAST!! If they had a breakfast, even if it was a super small menu, it would be absolutely fantastic!!

Had my first date here 3 years ago with my now wife. The food was delicious and fresh. Some of the best coffee in town. Atmosphere is invitingly chill.
