Old Abe Coffee Shop

I haven’t eaten any of their sandwiches yet but clearly I enjoyed their donuts the two weeks I was in town. They were delicious and had fun flavors. If you love donuts this place is for you!! The staff is great and always friendly! Their coffee and donuts are a great combination for me and my mornings. Last thing I did before I left town was make sure I left with some donuts. Don’t worry though it’s like what Arnold Schwarzenegger always says “ I’ll be back!” 🍩

I really had a good experience at this delightful little coffee shop. It’s a cute house, converted into a coffee house. Please park in front or across the street. Not at the car wash, or businesses nearby.
The options for coffee and tea are many. I didn’t try the donuts, but they looked amazing. They are served several days a week, Wednesday-Sunday. My guess they sell out early.
We had the grilled cheese, very good. Highly recommend it. Many vegan options, on the menu.
There is an outdoor seating area for Summer. Can’t wait to return in the nice weather.
The inside decor is fun. Several walls made me giggle. The bathroom is unique as well. It’s different in the best was from all the other local coffee cafe. They are often at the farmers market in the summer, selling coffee. It’s actually where I had their coffee first from the coffee bike.

I am not a vegan myself but this food was delicious and healthy. The atmosphere is groovy and colorful.

We came at an odd time so the place only had a couple of customers. It is perfect to either come for a casual lunch or alone to be by yourself. They have donuts and beers.

After the meal I felt better about life in general. Unique place in Rochester, IMO.

Impressive vegan restaurant! The service is great and the food is so good. The prices are reasonable and the portions large. I ordered many items and enjoyed eating the Bahn Mi and the BLT the most. The grilled cheese was good and the giant spring roll was indeed giant. I wish I could go back and get more.

Cannot believe I've never tried this place before!! The staff is absolutely AMAZING!!! Everyone on staff is helpful, patient and happy to make suggestions on what they love and help make the decision process easier ❤
I got the BANH MI " The sandwich that made them famous." I see why; this sandwich is mouth watering delicious!!! I also got the Vietnamese Vegan coffe and WOW! Also incredibly delicious! Finally found a place close to home for AMAZING vegan food! Thank you to everyone at Old Abe for making this place possible! Keep up the amazing work!!!💖

Very fortunate to have stumbled upon this little place. Definitely glad we did. Meals were so tasty and plenty of food. We carried out and ate at the park, but they have a nice patio out back. Park on the street. Friendly staff, helpful.

I got the BLT, and since have been craving it!
I’m a picky eater, so when I found another all time favorite food, I’ve been thinking about and anticipating my next visit.
That day I could tell the staff loved their job and the vibe was extremely chill and welcoming!

Best vegan food you can get in Rochester. They have good sized portions for the price. The drinks and atmosphere are fantastic as well.

Wow, cool little place. Cozy atmosphere, *great* food. My wife and I enjoyed a vegan Bahn Mi and a grilled cheese sandwich. Very fresh, super tasty vegan fare. We’ll be back for sure!
