The service & food were great. One of the best rueben sandwiches I ever had.

Absolutely wonderful, inviting, friendly employees and great food and drinks. We stopped in with only 5 minutes before closing and were told that were welcomed and not to worry about the clock as they were happy to have us. Our waitress was super friendly and the food and cocktails were great. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Stopped here after getting our global entry at international Falls airport. Great place to stop with great host and service. The Ruben was fantastic!!!

This is a fun atmosphere. It's a cross between a library/restaurant/bar with good food and wonderful regulars. We were in the area and went for breakfast and had lots of laughs and created more memories to take with us along our journey. Great coffee and good food portions. We learned a lot about the area and found how much people truly loved this city. If I am ever in the area, I would definitely find a way to hang out here.

The food was absolutely fantastic (we got the Rueben and muffaletta sandwiches— both amazing and came with yummy herby kettle chips) and we had the nicest waitress ever. Loved the cute cozy atmosphere and there are donated books everywhere that you’re free to take home! This place is a gem.

Wonderful special of Swedish meatballs over egg noodles! This has to be the best restaurant in International Falls. Very friendly staff, excellent service, and owners who truly care—what more could you want?

I really hate to leave such a low star rating, but everything about our experience with The Library was a huge disappointment. We were in the area visiting Voyaguers over the weekend, and decided to stop in for takeout around 11am for a late breakfast and second cup of coffee. We used online ordering and both opted for the breakfast sandwiches and both ordered them with crispy hashbrowns, crispy bacon, egg, and cheddar on a croissant. We've had really good breakfast sandwiches and burritos elsewhere which featured hashbrowns as a filling, so that's what we though we were ordering since it was included as one of the options for the sandwich fillings, but they were actually served on the side. They were some of the worst hashbrowns I've ever had - super greasy and not at all crispy. Worse still, there was a short gray hair in mine (I have very long dark hair). The bacon and eggs were prepared well, but whatever the filling was in was certainly not a croissant. It was the size, shape, and consistency of a hamburger bun, and it was incredibly dry/stale. There was nothing croissant like about it, and if they were out of croissants that would have been fine, but a stale, dense bun was not at all a good substitution. On top of all of that, our beverages were not good. My husband ordered a hot white mocha, which is one of his favorites, and thought it was basically undrinkable. I ordered a hot chai latte, and while the flavor was okay, it was basically just hot tea and no latte. We ended up throwing both out still more than half full. I would also say that our tab was over $30 which is pretty expensive for 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 beverages. Even though it wasn't very good, if it had been more in the $15-20 range, I think we would have been a bit more understanding. This place has really good reviews, so maybe our experience was just a fluke, but The Library definitely missed the mark on this one.

WOW! Almost drove by this place. Not much to look at from outside the building... However, the food was excellent! My wife had the Reuben and I had the turkey melt and we split sandwiches with each other. Both were loaded with meat and delicious - like I would've made myself!
Prices were all under $10.00 and we didn't walk away, still, hungry!
We will stop again.

The service was fast and friendly. The food was good and the price wasn't bad. You can get coffee to go after eating. The decor was unique and a nice change of pace.

Super friendly people and amazing books! The bar has book bindings under glass and it's really cool. The food was great as well!
