We love this place! The outside of the building looked like a typical bar with mediocre fried food, but we decided to chance it because of the good reviews and my daughter loves books. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm, friendly atmosphere and really good food! Not only were the staff the happiest, perkiest people I've ever met, but they had gluten free options and even moist gluten free cake. And if that was not enough, they also let you take home books for free! It was not just dinner but an experience! I ordered the sirloin steak, my son had a burger (he said the best he's ever had & asked me to return the next day for lunch so he could order the sirloin) & my daughter had the Mexican bowl. All were really good, but the experience made it even better! Don't miss this place if you go to International Falls. They also have a bar and coffee.

Another great surprise in International Falls! Found the place by accident for lunch. Very nice atmosphere, cozy decor with a welcoming great service. My wife had the chili and I had the mushroom barley soup, both tasted freshly made and very tasty.

We stopped in for a late lunch after a morning of exploring the national park. The service was friendly, fun, attentive and efficient.
The atmosphere was relaxing and a fun environment as if you’re in a reading room in a well appointed house.
The food was outstanding. The walleye fingers were very fresh and flavorful and served quickly and hot. Our sandwiches were on point as were our literary themed cocktails. To top it off, probably the best restaurant playlist I’ve ever heard!

This place was great for a lunch after a day on the boat tour for Voyageurs National Park. Super cute spot with healthy food and a great concept with free library books all around that you can take home. Cannot recommend enough! My soup and salad combo were delicious and just right for lunch. My carrot cake was so so. Slightly disappointed in it for the price.

What a find! The Library, in International Falls, Minnesota, was such a pleasant surprise. From the friendliness of the owner and staff, to the delicious omelet and latte, I could have lounged for hours perusing the hundreds of books available for the asking! Brooke, one of the owners, explained that many patrons will send in books for their shelves, and visitors are encouraged to find one for keeps! Great food, cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, and friendly people make this place a new favorite!

Excellent experience. Had a nice, quiet breakfast surrounded by book shelves and a fire place. Food was terrific and very reasonable prices. Our waitress Brooke was friendly and fast. Highly recommend.

The Library is a cool spot. Love all the books and the atmosphere. We needed food and I needed good coffee. I am gluten-free. I was able to get a great mocha....so good I ordered 2nd. I ordered the french dip with provolone, for which they used gluten-free bread. It was tasty. It came with kettle chips that I liked, which was surprising b/c I rarely like kettle chips. They also have a gluten-free double chocolate cake that was delicious. My husband, who is not gluten-free, got flatbread pizza and raspberry cheesecake. The service was excellent. Definitely go here if you get the chance.

Incredibly unique spot with in-house roasted coffee and a cozy atmosphere.
I loved this place!
I was greeted by the most wholesome and cherry person I've met in a long time.
I had a coffee while I perused the menu and it was notably a great coffee.
To eat I had the chorizo and pepper burrito wrap, cheese on the hash browns and country gravy on the side. D-lishus!

Sure I miss Baraja, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the new restaurant to take its place ‘The Library’.
Friendly staff. Very clean. Something on the menu for everyone. My personal favorite is that breakfast is served all day on Sundays.
All of the books are donated, and you can ‘check them out’ for as long as you like (ie keep them)!
Lots of parking. Great coffee. Love the mural of ‘The Falls’ above the fireplace.

This was an amazing stop on our journey. They have a dog friendly patio, excellent food, and service. Our server Denise was very attentive and friendly which made for a memorable experience.

On top of all that, who can say no to unlimited reading material :)
They have a lot books along the walls/shelves in which you can even take home if so desired
