Stopped in for coffee and a bowl of soup. Very nice atmosphere with some really good coffee. The frenh onion soup was very good as well. The waitress was more than attentive with checking in with my party fairly frequent

Really nice chill atmosphere. Little kids love it because they can search for books that they want,my son found a few. We had a late lunch and went back the next day for breakfast.

Stopped in for an early lunch on Monday and the two owners were running the place themselves.
Do not let the outside of the building dissuade you from going in, or the sideways open sign.
Completely & beautifully remodeled on the inside. The owners are easy-going, relaxed people who are happy to chat with you.
We heard the story behind the amazing epoxy bar and how the restaurant got its name.
The food was great for two adults from
the Twin Cities and we even found local craft beer, a few on tap, and some canned.
Happy with the entire experience. They even accommodated a corn restriction and shrimp substitute in my meal.
Also bought coffee from Costa Rica!
For a Monday afternoon, they seemed to have a great mix of locals and tourists continually walking in the doors.
Would highly recommend and return when I find myself in the land of the Ice Box of America next!

The breakfasts here are delicious! I highly recommend Avacado toast. The servers are super friendly and environment is great!

The steak bites were perfect and the glaze sauce had excellent flavor. I was mostly after coffee and was impressed so much that I got a second latte. The library's real draw is the books and atmosphere which was great. Its a little weird finding the main entrance on the side. If you go bring a couple old books to donate and bring your reading glasses. The menu was simple and streamlined based on quality of product. The coffee selection was good. The bar was clean and well stocked. The staff was really engaging and welcoming.

The people at the Library are outstanding! Friendly service all around. All the food on the menu looked delicious but I went with the Pork Sirloin with Dumplings... was not disappointed (served fresh sauteed zucchini and asparagus on the side which tasted delicious!). My pup and I were able to sit outside on the patio area, able to enjoy to gorgeous day together in International Falls. Next time I travel to I-Falls I will make my way over to this unique cozy restaurant, for they are the real deal.

I was so pleasantly surprised by our stop to The Library after a quick Google search of places in town. The ambiance is lovely and you can take any of the books that are out on the shelves! The food came so quick and our waitress, Denise, made us feel so well attended to. Everything we ordered seemed to be made with great quality ingredients; our happy bellies seemed to agree!

The food was delicious and the waitress was extremely friendly. Great place to stop at if you’re in town!

Upon arrival we are greeted by Denise (our waitperson for the night). She informed us that their library of books is completely free and we started to peruse! The menu is the perfect length with great northern Minnesota options. I went for the pork chop and German Spätzle. With a little extra salt it was perfect. The decaf and dessert were a perfect way to round out the night. It seems that anything from their menu will satisfy. 10/10 would recommend when you are near the international falls area. It seems as though this is the only place like this up here!
