Very serviceable, tasty, home town menu. Very personable wait staff, great homemade rolls. Reasonable prices. Not gourmet quality, but substantial, tasty food with lots of Lake Wobegone decor. Wednesday is German Food night!!

This is a great, small diner to stop at for breakfast or any other meal. Service is fast, servers are always friendly, and the food is great! Plus, it is not that far off of I-94 and parking is convenient. Highly recommended if you are looking for a small town diner.

Always has a number of locals here, a testament to its food. It's not just a tourist trap. Food is always above avg & friendly service. When busy there might be a short wait but it's worth it. Never been disappointed & I've been here a score of times.

The food is very good, the staff is pretty nice when they wait on you. It does seem as though the staff is walking on eggshells around there, when I was a waitress or work with the public in general I personally want to be able to enjoy my job, I want to be able to bs with my waitress. It does not seem like the people working her enjoy their job it seems like they have to be all business no fun. That really isn't the kind of memory I like to walk away from a place with. We do in this place almost every time we are paying through on our way home to ND, we also so in at Kay's Kitchen in St Joe, the food is equally good but the atmosphere at Kay's is much better, the staff the isn't just nice they are very friendly and will Joe around. I feel like the staff don't get really friendly at Charlie's because they can't. The staff and like they really don't like their jobs and that is sad everyone should like their jobs.

A must stop if you're traveling north on 94! Service is good, the food is always great and the process are really affordable. The best caramel rolls I've ever had! So delicious

I love Charlie's. We traveled awhile looking for a spot to eat and found this place again..hadn't stumbled on it in YEARS from previous road trips. Good diner food and the guy at the register was so friendly.

For what looks like a little dinky diner they have quite a large sitting area. The food was delicious as well, and reasonably priced as well. I'll definitely be going back to try more of their food. They're Aloha salad is supremely delicious and has no right being that good.
