Our waitress linzzey said she was a trainee, but she was the best. Fast, friendly and our glasses always full.
We had the fish fry, all you can eat. My experience with these is usually waiting 10+ minutes for the second serving of fish. Mine came to me in a couple minutes, hot and fresh. That impressed me to no end.
The fish was tasty as well.
We will be back to try the caramel rolls 😁

Always a great experience at Charlie's Cafe! Great food, Great service, Great homemade syrup and desserts!!! We make it a point to stop every time we visit our family up here before heading back to Sheboygan, WI!

Charlie's embodies the very soul of small town living. You sit down and feel at home no matter where you come from. The food is all handmade goodness, but the portions are dauntingly large.

Dropped by this place while traveling through. Great small town old school cafe feel, hard to find anymore these days. Decent size menu, friendly staff and great service. Coffee was good and food was cooked to my standards. Will definitely try and visit again even if it's out of my way. Thanks again folks!

Best 3 egg spinach and mushroom omelet ever. Thank you Charlie's. It was very busy but our food arrived in a timely matter. The waitresses were very nice and fast. The kitchen staff really had there signals mastered for speed. 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞

Stopped by on our way to the lake. Wife's bacon was cold and very slimy from the grease. Toast was cold and way over buttered, it didn't meet other reviews. Not going to recommend this place to other people.

Cozy atmosphere with the small town hospitality. Great food and friendly staff make this a place I come back to time after time. Wednesdays are German menu night with many authentic German dishes. They also have German chocolate cake on Wednesday only. It is amazing!

My husband and I swung by here on our way through Minnesota. This place is the epitome of a small town diner. The service was delightful, the food was delicious, and we took two slices of pie to go. Definitely a good place to stop. Try the cheese curds!

Clean and orderly with an excellent breakfast and great service. Only complaint was my companion ordered hash browns very crisp and they were but only on one side so they were soft on the underside. My breakfast skillet was delicious.

I am an incredibly picky eater. I placed my order: 2 eggs over medium, wheat toast, hash browns (I forgot to say crispy so that's my mistake) with a side of sour cream, and bacon (which I also forgot to request extra crispy). Everything was perfection!!!! The hash browns were exactly what you would expect from a regular order of hash browns, my bacon was crispy enough for my liking (no fatty spots), the eggs were perfect, no runny white. 10/10 I will absolutely go back. Usually, at other places, I have to send something back because it's not how I ordered it. Here, it was my error to specify, but the flavor and way everything was cooked, was amazing, no need for my pickiness!
