Loved this place. Had a nice breakfast before heading out to explore the northern parks. The bloody Mary was one of my favorites of all times! Thank you to the waitress that suggested there house garlic vodka, delicious 😋. Contrary to other reviews, there was no wait. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd go back.

Very awesome restaurant! My mom and I went in there to try somewhere new and left very pleased! Our waitress, Shelby, was very kind and attentive. The food was phenomenal as well! I had the Denver omelet with home fries and an English muffin. Very filling and now I get to enjoy my leftovers later! Would definitely come back again!

The food--Pesto Eggs Benedict with onions this time--was fantastic, the staff (both trainer and trainee) attentive and helpful and friendly. I love the high, spacious, clean booths. Really, the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's just COLD in there. Bring an extra layer--a sweatshirt, flannel shirt, thermal, whatever you have.

Went there for the first time for a friend's birthday brunch. The wait was about 30 minutes, but we expected that considering how popular Vanilla Bean is and it didn't seem long at all.
I had the Happy Camper omelette but the American cheese replaced with formaggio. Also enjoyed 2 espressos with Bailey's.
Everything was absolutely delicious, including their homemade jam, which we loved because it wasn't overly sweet. I highly recommend Vanilla Bean and we will go again!!

Breakfast food does not get any better than this. Cute place with a great environment. Chicken Fried Steak was spot on. Only critique is that there was tons of echo within the concrete and glass walls so it is hard to hear.

Every single thing here is so amazingly delicious! I recommend the corned beef hash… perfectly crisp potatoes, flavorful beer braised beef, excellently seasoned onions and peppers… everything marries together so well! Their coffee drinks are delicious, too!
This is a must-visit place for brunch if you’re in the area!

Our experience was poor to mediocre. I called ahead to see if we could be put on the waitlist (you can’t) & they told me there was a group currently there so the wait would be about 30 minutes. We got there about 20 minutes later & the group they were talking about was there (the group was 11 people) about half the dining room was completely empty. We waited 30 minutes & during this time they turned away multiple tables telling them it would be an hour wait bc of their 11 top. It’s a Sunday morning. They acted like this 11 top was the end of their world. They could have easily sat us & multiple other tables & gotten us drinks & mentioned there might be a wait for food bc they only had 2 cooks.
Anyway, we order. The waitress handed us the wrong drinks & didn’t mention what they were called. The table next to us (also a table of 4) was sat a few minutes after us & got their food before us. We got our food & it was Luke warm. I had eggs Benedict & they did not even warm the English muffins much less put butter on them or grill or toast them. The bacon was deep fried to a crunchy crisp (I’m guessing bc of lack of time?). The waitress checked on us once and walked away before we could say anything about the food. She was not the waitress with the 11 top. We waited about 20 minutes for the check. Overall disappointing given the other reviews. The donuts were good 😊

Great hash browns! Classic morning menu with a few unique Duluth specials. Good for a sit down breakfast or a cup of coffee to go. They also have a full bar with fun drink specials.

One of the worst run restaurants in Duluth! 50% of the tables are open and there was still a 20 minute wait to be seated. Service was spectacularly slow, but we enjoyed watching the staff chit chat with an obvious lack of things to do. 7 staff (not including the kitchen)waiting on tables and only six tables occupied. Fortunately, the food was mediocre. Stop in if you want to spend an hour and a half waiting for your food in an empty restaurant!

Mikayla was a great waitress. The eggs and breakfast potatoes were excellent! The biscuits and gravy were mediocre however I know that this is a more southern dish. I Would recommend Vanilla Bean for a great breakfast especially for large groups.
