Clearwater Travel Plaza

My family and I love eating at the restaurant. Great prices, great food, great environment. Never have been disappointed in the service. I recommend this place to a lot of friends and family and they've enjoy it as well.

A great truckstop and travel plaza. Truck parking is a little small for being in such a high traffic area, so get here early! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and their deli and pastries are to die for. Especially their option to turn any slice of pie into a milkshake. Yes. A slice of pie. Mixed into a milkshake. I recommend the French Silk, but they are pricy at over $7. Truckers will find the standard amenities here as well, all well taken care of.

I went to this particular place because it looked like the biggest travel center on my route on I94. I was particularly looking for MN themed shirts and to gas up my car. Found a fantastic selection of shirts and got the car filled up. I did use the restroom and it sure smelled terrible-I held my breath in fact. I purchased a tuna sandwich from a stand alone open cooler as well and it was a little cooler than room temp so I didn't eat much of it for fear of getting sick. So for those reasons I rated the place 4 stars. Will definitely stop back again but probably not for a restroom break and will choose something from elsewhere within to eat.

I generally love stopping at Clearwater travel plaza as they have great food and a friendly staff. I was so very disappointed to see that none of the staff were wearing masks when I visited this evening. Most of staff were handling food and not 6 feet from coworkers. This seems like an unnecessary risk to take for customers and from a business standpoint since they risk having multiple staff needing to quarantine for 14 days and be out of work.(which in Minnesota the company would have to pay wages for). Unless this changes, I unfortunately don’t see us returning for quite some time.

Really like their sandwich deli. Great for on the go when I don't have time for a sit-down meal but much better than fast food. Homemade bread is delicious.

Great breakfast. Try the wild rice sausages, super duper delish! Never ending coffee, great service. Check out the bakery for a take home after breakfast treat. Mmmmm good!

Bad, cold uncooked hashbrowns, cold eggs. Server took my food and charged me half price. server was somewhat nasty when asked to see manager. Was told manager just went on break. it's not like the manager left the building, she should of went and got her.

What a wonderful place! The bakery is fantastic! Bear claws the size of half a 9x13 pan. Only 2.59 for most items. Must see for travelers!!!!
