Any time I'm nearby I can't wait to stop in. Amazing coffee, fantastic baked goods. Everything is great. They have some neat and creative seasonal espresso drinks too. This is without a doubt my favorite coffee spot, and with so many good places for coffee and baked goods in the area, that really should say something about how wonderful this place is.

The coffee is good and they get points for opening earlier, the way a coffee shop should. I can't believe there are coffee shops out there that don't open until 7 or later. If you are a coffee shop, be open at 6am or don't open at all or move to Harbor Springs or something...lol.

Edit; because this place opens at 6am I continue to come here more than any other place downtown. Thank you again for opening early. Your staff is always friendly and the coffee and scones are great!

This place is just OK. I have been here many times. The best thing it has going for it is location - right in the middle of downtown Traverse City. The inside is small and cramped; there are only a few stools to sit on, no actual tables. The espresso they use is average. And a couple of times I went in there and they made my Americano with old espresso, stuff they had sitting in a jar that looked like extra from prior brews. That was several years ago, I don't know if they still do it. Bottom line: it's an OK place but there are better options downtown.

The espresso machine was not working, so I ordered a regular coffee. Things break down. I understand. The reason for the undesirable review is for the unfriendly service. We felt that we were a bother. The cappuccino muffin was average. Just a sweet tasting muffin with chocolate chips. No coffee flavor. The next morning I sought out an amazing coffee shop on Hall street that I can’t wait to visit again.

To start, I love coffee. I think Traverse City has fantastic coffee shops and I am never disappointed in Good Harbor's baked goods. BUT I went to Good Harbor this morning and noticed how they make their iced lattes/ iced coffee drinks and was incredibly disappointed. I had ordered an iced latte and asked for whichever size includes a double shot of espresso. The girl behind the counter acknowledged that I asked for this. Most coffee shops will add a double shot of espresso, mix in the milk to cool it down and then ice it up. I watched as the barista pulls out a large container of cold coffee out of the fridge and uses that to mix in with milk instead of fresh espresso. The taste was terrible. Watered down and I paid $5.00 for a coffee drink. When you pay $5 for a coffee you expect that you will get a double shot of espresso (that costs .05 cents), not old coffee that has been chilled. Either way, I am never going back even though they offer unbeatable sweets. There are too many other fantastic coffee shop options. Hopefully this will encourage the owner to change their ways.

Good coffee, food and service. Slightly pricey - it would really be great if there was an updated menu with prices :)

This little gem of a coffee shop is my favorite in Traverse City. The staff know how to make a proper cup of coffee and also have an excellent selection to choose from. Don't forget about their baked goods, they have something for those with a sweet tooth as well as savory!

Great, creative drinks. Solid baked goods. I wish they had more seating so I could meet friends there. More of a “carry out and go” type place. Love grabbing a drink and treat before we walk down Front Street.

I was so impressed how pulverized that ice gets in their blended iced mocha. It comes out almost like a milkshake. Thats what I tend to go in there for. I don't like the blended coffee drinks some places where you're drinking through the straw and before long, a bunch of ice shards are left behind. The way Good Harbor makes it, I can enjoy every sip. The staff are polite too. It's a great find!

My boyfriend and I decided to check out this coffee shop because we heard they have vegan baked goods. The have one vegan option each day it seems. He had a (non-vegan) poptart and enjoyed it but didn't love it; I had the vegan chocolate chip cookie and thought it was mediocre. Staff was kind of rude. Overall, not super impressed and will unlikely return to get our baked goods fix.
